dear cy...i too,make my raw bread. i add no oil. i just sprout the wheat berries and then let them dry for about 3 hours and then i form and put in the food dryer for about 10 hours.it is so good . i make tiny little buns.i eat one every few days.it is so good.i do a walking dvd and walk outside alot and also a kickbox dvd.u are doing really good.keep up the good work.hugs taylor

hi everyone!! i was at this food mill place yesterday and i was looking thru the bulk foods and saw "DRIED GARBANZO POWDER".so is this just dried garbanzo's and they blended them up to a powder?? can i add water to make hummus??it said nothing on the bin about being able to do this.i just don't like to soak the garbanzo's and then blend them.it takes so long.any insite on this would be

u can grate rutabaga's for brown rice turnips ofr white rice beets for red rice yams for orange rice...according to the book "RAW".place in a food processor(i don't have one so i use the word "grate"cause this is what i would have to do to get "rice".hope this gives u some ideas/take care.taylor

well-where i live there is alot of old orchards.last yr. me and the family went and picked alot of apples. i was not raw then but made lots of apple sauce.then down the road...this family had a big crop of plums.they picked them and put them out in a wheel barrow and wrote a free sign on them.i canned so many jars of plums.and dried alot.they were so good.also Oregon-at least in the Willamette va

i love oats-but i think they have to be soaked...and put into the food dryer to make it warm if u are having it for breakfast.i use to like to put it in vegan patties.but i don't now mostly cause i love comfort foods like oatmeal patties with cashew gravy on them...i would eat the whole pan full.so i avoid the oat thing.others may have more experience.good luck-taylor

hi cy-taylor here.u are doing so great.the hour walk is what i do-it sure is wonderful.i ahve become addcited to walking out in the air and even exercise. sometimes it is hard for me to get going...but once i do.it is great.do u make your own bread?it is very easy.i too was a vegetarian for yrs and yrs.then vegan.i am on a weight loss program. i too am like sachelle...eating only fruit and veggie

dear raspberry-i sprout wheat berries and then i grind to a paste.if too mushy.add flax seed.then form it and put in the food dryer for like 10 hours.or if in the oven-250 degrees for 2 and 1/2 to 3 and 1/2 hours.my bread this last time i made it did not turn out so good cause i forgot to let my sprouted wheat dry for 3 to 6 hours before i ground them.ok well-personally i like the bread oven bett
