Just bought a case of organic GS apples at Costco and am only on my 5th day of going raw, but out of all the produce I bought they are still just sitting there. They are not sounding good to me. So does that mean that I should just not eat them or should I doctor them up a bit so that I will want to eat them? If so, do any of you have any ideas of what I can do with them. I am brand new to raw

At what point in my changing over to an all raw diet should I do a parasite cleanse and then when should I do a colon cleanse and should I do a juice feast right along with each?? Thanks, Mindy

John, I am loving your videos!! Your info is a blessing to me. Thank you for taking your own personal time to help me and others. Yay! Mindy You don't happen to live in Central Calif. do you?? If so, do you offer classes that my hubby and I could attend?

Thanks guys and gals! While I am overweight, it is not my focus at all. My health is. If losing weight happens, then that will be a great bonus to me. My health is so so poor that it is my total focus. Thanks for the info. Will ck out FitCurvyRaw. May I ask what some ideas are for what to use for the fat and protein portions? Also, when you say 80% carbs, does that include ALL raw fruits

Ok, so here is my most important question yet: What, EXACTLY, would you eat each day if you were me, considering all of my issues, and how much? Today is my 5th day raw. Oh and by the way, I never mentioned that I completely eliminated coffee. I do miss it. I used to put organic blue agave in it but along with that would add 3 heaping teaspoons of icky non-dairy creamer powder. Though I

Yes, Panchito. True. Leaders of any diet movement can sell well. What I want to know is about people who have been doing this a really long time successfully. Would love feedback from them.

Maybe kinda icky, but I am surprised that my elimination is not alot more than it is. Little bit, couple times a day, but never complete. Today even less for some reason. Also not as hungry today. Mindy

Hi John, I am grateful for all of the info you provided! I am leaning towards going the coffee enema route, but have a couple of questions. Oh an by the way, here is where I posted about my health issues so that you can better understand where I am coming from: What do you think about what Prana said when he said, "Not a good idea. The coffee bypasses your immune system and has

Hello All, I am very curious to know how raw each of you are, percentage-wise and how long have you been that percentage? And...if you wish to share, what all do you eat and in what percentages, approx.?? Would totally love to know that. I am 100% for 4 days. ha!

Thank you Prana for providing your article. I got some good things out of it. One thing, though, that I probably will differ with you about is the order in which diet and spiritual healing take place. If you are a toxic individual and try to address that which we ought to, spiritually, you may be so exhausted on a regular basis that you are simply unable to do so. I tend to think that while, y

Wow, what a wealth of information. Thank you all so much. Cute joke, banana! Though it may or may not be a good idea to do these coffee enemas for life, perhaps they would be good to do for those with compromised liver function. Blessings, Mindy

Have been consuming 2 vegetable juices per day since starting and 1 green smoothie (well, partially green. Lots of chard and then some fruit to sweeten), fruit througout day and then salad and the like at dinner. Interesting - Yesterday I thought I smelled a waft of yeast. Then today when I got up, smelled it again. As if it's in my nose, itself. Weird!! Anyone?? Not trying to be gross, bu

Good idea or bad idea? I am going from SAD Diet to mostly if not 100% Raw started yesterday. Once heard Charlotte Gerson say something about the importance of first cleansing liver before body starts detoxing, otherwise you will release toxins into a body where the liver is already not working and just add all the more. What do YOU think?? Mindy

Thanks all for your feedback. Prana, what is the best you've ever felt? Now, on the 80-10-10 or something else? Curious. Is there somewhere online that I can find info on how to follow the 80-10-10? Thanks so much to you all for helping me through this tough time. Mindy

I live in the U.S. What type of practitioner should I be looking for? My Dr. is of zero help in anything holistic. He is most definitely a Conventional guy. Powerlifer, do you feel as though after being healed of ones ailments and diseases the 80-10-10 is something that could work well? I did a dumb thing today. I think that because I am a bit confused on what I should be doing, I allow

Ok, so Powerlifer... If you were me, what would you eat daily? What supplements daily? I'd not be surprised to find my adrenals taxed. I may get them tested, but would almost like to just treat myself as if they are compromised. I cannot afford the expense of the testing. Tight budget. Because my energy is so low, the easier the "plan" the better. Smoothies are fairly easy s

Hello, I've heard it said that when buying seeds or plants I should be sure to buy organic, heirlooms. Do you agree? Also, how in the world can I get my produce to be nutrient dense when the soil is lacking soooo much and the "Home" typically only offer you 3 of the many many minerals to amend with?? Thank you, Mindy

So, I see that Mulberries look similar to a Blackberry or a Boysenberry. I love the flavor of them, but the seeds tend to annoy me because they get stuck in my teeth. Maybe I should just get over that?

Here is a SUMMARY of my very long post at beginning of this thread: I have been planning on going straight from SAD diet to 100% Raw. Started this morning. Is this ok to do for someone like me who has chronic, debilitating migraines, hypothyroidism, depression, and very very low energy. All this for years. I am 46 yrs old. What should my first few days/weeks look like per day as far as what

So, are there any of you here who believe that when someone is as sick as I am is switching over that there should be a transition period of some supplements and perhaps less fruit, more other raw things, to first get well and THEN eventually eliminate those supplements and incorporate much more fruit? It is so confusing when so many folks are so passionate about one raw way or another and hav
