My garden is thriving with all kinds of fresh veggies!!! It amazes me how I can throw a few seeds in the ground and in a few months have a fresh salad bar in my backyard for the whole summer!! I just can't wait until I can move to a climate where I can grow stuff all year round!!! I love the thought of not having to buy any produce at the store!!!

Wheatgrass is Wheatgrass is Wheatgrass I Love my wheatgrass juice!!!!! I do believe the outdoor grown might have more nutrients in it simply for the fact that the ground it is grown is has more nutrients especially with all those critters moving through the earth. Of course evergreenjuices will emphasize that because they want you to buy their outdoor grown grass. Don't take that the w

Hi Sing, Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, but I am glad that you are back on the raw path. I know first hand how difficult the ups and downs can be, but try and remember what worked for you before. That's the key. You've been at this point many times and you've gotten through. Think it out. Also keep a positive outlook. Make sure you're getting lots of rest! Good Luck and lots o

The only tea I drink is Yerba mate!!! It is soooooooooo good. Here's a little info from the Guayaki site, they carry the organic yerba mate tea that I drink. The chai yerba mate is wonderful! I usually buy it at the health food store. If you want to check out the site it's www.guayaki.com and they have lots of great info. ----------------------------------- South

I've always been a fruit basher. Mainly because I thrive on greens and I am allergic to citrus. I apologize to all the fruit eaters for my past prejudice. I believe we all have a tendency to promote what works for us because that's what we believe will work for everyone. Not true. I do see now that our internal bodies do not all operate the same from what we ingest. Yes, there are peop

Just a thought, have you considered visiting any naturopathic doctors? They study homeopathy and may be able to offer you some relief in a natural way. Also, if you are having that many problems, perhaps it might be a good idea to have some professional advice. I do hope you feel better and continue to follow the raw way. Btw, when you are feeling better I hope you have a chance to r

Hi ltf, I've been raw about four years now. Off and on around 80%, sometimes more, sometimes less. You know I don't believe in eating alot of fruit, but I do love avocados and although I don't eat them everyday, I do eat many every week. The main reason I got into the raw life was because of my teeth. I had just spent $1800 on one tooth and then they wanted to do more! That's when I

I'm an O, but I can't remember if it's + or -. I do the best when I eat mostly greens. The only problem I have is when I have any citrus or if I have too much of other types of fruit. Although I've not been into making a whole lot of the raw recipes, those I have made have made me sleepy. ( dehydrated veggie burgers, flax crackers, better than beef.)

Does anyone have any suggestions on passing a kidney stone? My son went to the emergency this morning and found out he has a stone and is trying to pass it. He is a sad eater, but I think if I could suggest some things he could do or eat, he might be interested as the pain is that intense!!! Thanks.

Thanks David. I planted seeds from the actual banana peppers. They are growing like crazy, only no peppers!! Just lots of green leaves. They get lots of sunshine and lots of water every day. Only I did notice something about the leaves. There are little yellowish bumps on the backsides of some of them. Like little tiny insects. So I am thinking perhaps those critters prevented the growing o

Does anyone have any experience with growing banana peppers? I planted them at the same time as my bell peppers and the bell peppers are growing nicely but the banana peppers are doing nothing but growing a ton of leaves.

Hi Mona, Sorry I didn't see your post until today. I hope you found something good to have. For future reference, during the holidays, I usually am pretty happy with having a nice veggie platter and a fresh fruit platter. I have also had some luck with making some raw veggie burgers that are soooooooooooooo good!!!@@!@!@! But I made the veggie burgers and I made the better than beef and then m

I am not one to use fruit in my smoothies, but then again, I am not a fan of smoothies. I'd rather just eat the greens, chewing about 100 times each, or juicing them and then using the pulp for veggieburgers.

Everytime I ate or drank citrus, my sciatica along my leg would scream with pain and my back would spasm. My mother said that as a child she could never give me orange juice, I would have a bad reaction to it, she always had to give me apple juice. But I was wondering, because of people who say that after going raw their old ailments disappear, I thought maybe I would give citrus another try,

actually, after reading the thread about the master cleanse, I think I may like to do that instead of a fast. although as I type, my friend is advising against it. especially because of my past problems with citrus. hmmmmmmm, now I am torn. again, emilie have you done any before?

hhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I've been wanting to do a fast for a while now. This sounds tempting!!! I haven't had any incentives to follow through on a fast lately, but this may be just what I need!!!! I can't promise the whole 21 days, but I'll sure start out with you!! Have you done any water fasts before? Have you done any 21 day fasts?
