If you eat the whole food, you are honoring the balance of the plant and the fruit. Tha balance of toxins vs. nutrients is designed such that it allows for the fruit/seeds to be acquired by a "spreader of the seeds",.....but not totally consumed by said "spreader".

Word Up, mi Amigos! I "usually" reside in N. Topsail Beach, N.C., but am doing a little American Heartland Raw right now.
I LOVE Tidal Creek too. They have AMAZING buyers and staff at their little oasis.

It ALL depends on how hungry you are. Have you ever been REALLY hungry? ....and I mean..
..so hungry that you eat Oxygen....eat the stuff in the middle of Oxygen? ....that empty space in the middle there?
Try it sometime. It's ok, it only feels like you're dying,...but you're probably actually really just living for the first time, while your mind is re-organizing itself a bit.

A quick semi-aside. If you put raw (meaning the fuel that is designed to be burned) fuel into a car engine, it burns best.
But, ultimately, if the engine is burning efficiently enough and hot enough, you could throw granite, tree bark, or the hair from the barbershop floor in there.....and it will burn quite efficiently and well.

Let me tell you a little story.
Accidentally, when I was but a wee pup, my Mom was cleaning the bathroom with a heavy plastic cup.
Because it was so heavy, she couldn't tell what was in the bottom half.
I asked for water.
She ran the water and put a little in.
The bottom half had Clorox Bleach in it.
I like to chug. And I did.
