Cooking could not have been the original sin. With plenty of fruits around them, the first humans must have eaten first before making a fire and the equipment for cooking their food. It takes energy to make a fire and cook food. Cooking is an attribute of an advanced society. When I am so hungry why would I start eating the fruits that are easily available instead of spending my energy cookin

The sin is the assimilation, the eating of something contrary to our divine nature. Cooking is only an external activity that does not necessary force me to eat. I can cook something and not eat it, so it cannot be the original sin. It is in the digestive system where food is made into part of us, made it life, or destroyer of life.

"but like what Gabriel said, you can’t eat or fast your way to God or enlightenment because the enlightenment MUST be already in the person waiting to come out. I think it is a great topic and a blessing to have Tai and the Sproutarian on the forum. My only concern here is the observation to give up touching the sick because it will drain energy from us. Light is more powerful than darkness. I know biblical references are interpreted as dogmatic but they hide a profound truth in between the lines. "As a result, people brought the sick in

Those who are promoting a 100 percent raw and nothing else are missing the point. It is not just the food, the nutrients, there is the joy and excitement of eating. People have hard time breaking old habits. If someone enjoys a particular cooked meal, he may feel more excited eating a raw salad before the cooked meal.

The problem with salads is that you have to spend long time chewing them especially when you have greens such as kale. When the intestinal flora is weak that is a difficult task for starters.

QuoteOnce you consume them, they can move throughout your body -- your eyes, your tissues and most commonly your brain. They leave doctors puzzled in their wake as they migrate and settle to feed on the body they're invading; a classic parasite, but this one can get into your head. "It had moved from one side of the brain to the other ... very few things move in the brain," says Dr.

Drink green juices and eat fruits. Fruits and sprouts have a lot of fiber. The problem is not lack of nutrients but nutrient absorption. Fiber is not an issue.

Dehydrating sprouts? I do not see the need. So much effort put into re-introducing water into a dried seed. And then turn around and remove that same water. Why? Eating is drinking nutrient rich organic water.
