QuoteJR, I love how your statement ends: "What a crock of @#$%&!" Yes, that gave me a great deal of amusement. Sometimes I love how you express yourself John We obviously have different views on this matter, and since I am only in the discovery stages myself right now I don't wish to debate it with you. Ignorance is prolific. It could be we both strongly disagree and yet

QuoteTai: I think your post is generally okay, but this section is not. People's karma is so great that without medicine, many would die prematurely. Dying prematurely is not good, because then a person cannot often not repent, not take a higher road, not lead a better life and not fulfill one's purpose in life. Thank you for sharing Tai, you have helped me to see this issue in a different l

See, we cannot just judge things with a one-size-fits-all approach. Not all animals are alike, neither are all humans. The most major things that differentiate us cannot be seen with physical eyes. Thanks for the link Fresh, I enjoyed reading that article

This post is likely to be highly controversial, but so be it. When I hear people talking about healing others' illnesses I cringe inside, so it's time to set the record straight. This post will look at disease from a very advanced spiritual perspective. What is the cause of disease and sickness? We're all quite knowledgeable in that area, and we know it comes down to things such as poor diet,

Milk thistle sprouts are fantastic for liver health and detoxification! Where do you get the seeds? Yes, we are very backwards here in the US. The US is meant to lead the rest of the world down a dark path imo, so toxic things that are banned in many other countries (water fluoridation, GMO foods, etc) are widely embraced and promoted here, and with that many beneficial things that are embrace

QuoteI once read on Tom Billings website that sometimes raw vegans can get too much fiber. Fiber can potentially take up too much space and not allow space for vital nutrients in some very high fiber diets. So even fiber must be watched, and especially so when eating a lot of vegetables. Yes, and a lot of fiber from raw vegetables seems to be very harsh on the digestive tract and not ideal at a

My thoughts on the matter The meaning of life is to purify ourselves through mastering the trials and tests of this world until we are completely perfect and worthy of returning to our original home, + to pay off all our debts to other beings (karma) so we can escape the illusion. The caveat is that this goal will only be reached by very very few in their present lifetime, for most people t

QuoteI am personally worried about the mental health of the vegan community in general. Is it that it attracts fringe people, or does being vegan/sprout/raw/fruitarian bring out the nuttiness/anger in people? Both points seem to be true, but the one to be concerned about is #2. Evidence has been posted on this site before showing how poorly done vegan diets, especially raw ones, can contribute

QuoteAbout the transit time, in my case, it is very fast, like 30 min to an hour after my meal. I find that my digestion is incredibly fast and it takes a little time until I need to go to the bathroom. I basically go to the bathroom after each meal, every day It is highly unlikely that you're eliminating the meal you just ate within 30 minutes, much more likely it is your previous meal. Many p

I do not believe that is Kulvinskas, he is a sproutarian not a fruitarian. The mention of eating meat on the sly seems to be a common thing for people on deficient raw food diets, and many fruitarian/natural hygiene gurus were said to eat cooked food and meat when they thought no one was watching. Sproutarians do not need to do such things, as the sproutarian diet provides everything the body

Something to take into consideration is that dogs generally end up with all sorts of sickness and ill health. It generally happens to them as they age so people think it is natural, but it is not! It is because of a deficient diet and toxic overload. The same thing happens to most humans. Sickness is not natural. Look around you and see how many people are sick. The last time I looked at the s

Quote> beta carotene is extremely easy to get on a > fruit/veg diet. It depends. It is interesting how Brian Clement claims he tested people on N.H diets and 50% came up deficient in vitamin A levels. The study above certainly shows it can be a problem if one is not diligent. There is a large difference between beta carotene and vitamin A. Beta carotene is found abundantly in

Some of them (spiritual wannabes) did starve their bodies. They had great intentions and wanted to mimic the great monks of the time, but they didn't have the connection so they suffered physically. But some tapped into a non-physical source of food and their bodies thrived and did far better than you could on raw food alone, raw food being a cheap knockoff of the life-sustaining vibrations of th

QuoteMe thinks WE need to take these ideas out into the landscape or they'll never make sense. That's the missing piece... NuNativs, I am sincerely curious about this. If you believe that global food forests are the way to save this planet, what are you doing to make it happen? From what I remember I believe you said you live in an RV and follow the sun across the country. That sounds awesome,

QuoteThey were not sick not because of the food they ate but because of the food they did not eat. There may be more to the story than that. QuoteThey were very skinny and did not live long. My biological family are all devout system worshippers. My true family includes every being in existence because we all come from the same source, but the majority of my human family members living on this planet are all system-worshippers too. It's not such a smart thing to be a system worshipper, because this life passes in the blink of an eye and if you didn't use it for self-improvement and d

Quotemaintain high levels of unprocessed unjuiced f+v, it's a compromise. I find juicing to be a very important cornerstone of the diet, and I also believe that certain types of food processing (namely sprouting and fermenting) are highly beneficial. I can however certainly understand your viewpoint as to wanting to consume the fiber.

Hi arugula, B12 was just an example I used. There have also been many cases of vegans and raw vegans being deficient in vitamin d, calcium, protein, selenium, zinc, and various other nutrients. The case I am trying to make here is that sometimes just eating fruits + vegetables is not enough for everyone to thrive, and that no one diet fits all. As I said before, two people can eat the exact sa

QuoteSince we are somewhat adapting to our environment, can't it be that if we keep eating flesh foods, that we become more animalistic, more barbaric, more predator-like? Yes! Under such circumstances that anguish and terror and rage becomes infused into the meat and

I agree that seeds and nuts should not be had in large quantities as-is, but if you sprout and/or ferment them they follow different rules. I have little wish to join this conversation, but I will make one quick point. Panchito, rabbits are not designed to eat lots of fat and do not have the enzymes and proper requirements for dealing with it. Humans do. There is a ton of research out there debunking that study as being wholly inapplicable to humans if you are interested in following up on the matter and discovering the truth.

If that were to happen it would be amazing, the massive changes that would happen on this planet if everyone became vegan would be incredible. Even if they all ate junk food the entire world would change. Sprouted seeds and fermented nuts/seeds are incredibly nutritious.
