For the last two months I have been juicing and drink more grass juices daily, morning and night. Rotating between wheatgrass, barley grass, spelt grass. The result is amazing. I have never felt this good. There is something special about grass juices. No other food can provide, no amount of seaweed can provide the same benefit.

Doug Graham brought fruit to the table. Making fruit the primary food is a big win for many. It may not take you far in the long run but for many it is a huge transition from a diet of pizzas and pastas. For one thing it is a cleansing diet, for another it is environment friendly. The problem is that many in their zeal make fruit the ONLY diet. But that is not Doug Graham fault.

Life without sprouting seeds will be difficult. I need grasses in my daily diet. I use the sprouted seeds to grow grasses and for seed milk. Life is good.

The anti nutrients cannot be deactivated just from soaking. Soaking starts the process but it is not enough.

It refreshing to know that some degree of blending is ok. I was getting alarmed by all of the negative reports on blending.

It has been more than five years since the book Green Smoothie Revolution by Victoria Boutenko came out. Is the revolution dead? There are many who bought high speed blenders as the result of the book so we should have a good sample of cases to report on the long term effect of blending on the body.

You are making a good point. I will get a supply at my next visit at Costco. Young coconuts are also at about 5 dollars where I live, that gives me another option. I do not have to carry sacks of them, just sold less than a mile away. I guess there is no easy way to commercialize coconut water.

You are correct. Frozen is better than nothing. I had frozen cherries, frozen blueberries and some pomegranate for lunch today. I did buy a bag of frozen strawberries too but they are not coming out right when you let them sit for an hour. I guess those fruits with a lot water do not un freeze well. They are totally tasteless. Mango should be fine. will get mango next time

There are two groups those in super foods and those in sprouts, green juices. Actually three And the rest. Those in the super food maybe they do not have time to grow sprouts.

If freezing does not damage nutrients that much, this is the time to buy pomegranates and freeze the seed. Many local stores have it at 2 dollars.

I think John Rose understands this probably more than I do. The simplest, easiest, do it all remedy for all of these diseases is a well functioning digestive system. When that works the body will heal itself from anything.

Juicing works, blending is questionable. What we may need instead of blending is to use machine that would slowly grind veggies and some juicers do have homogenizing screen to that.

There was an experiment posted on this forum about someone feeding growing plants with blended water, the plants died. The control group plants watered normally did not die.
