This kind of thing also illustrates why the idea of a limited government is a rather wise idea. We should have a lot more autonomy and independence, and not be coerced into doing things by government I think.

Just another example of why limited government is a good idea.
Surely this must be unconstitutional?

When the environmental and moral arguments don't seem to be getting through, this is yet another scientific argument to convince someone that animal products aren't very good for us.
The antibiotics fed to the farm animals we eat may have helped to create superbugs like the drug-resistant staph bacteria known as MRSA.
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, also known as MRSA -- or, in

Hey Pistachio, yes, neurotransmitters seem ok, although he did have peripheral neuropathy a few years ago. I believe it is related to the endocrine system since testosterone and TSH/T4 levels are persistently too low, cortisol regularly high and when muscle failure occurs potassium is very low.

Thanks Pistachio, I know which one you mean.
Hey David, no, I'm trying to get to the root of a health problem my brother has been having recently, which involves the endocrine system, irregular electrolyte levels and temporary muscular paralysis.
Hey jono, thanks.
Hey arugula, thanks so much for the recommendations, I've been flipping though them and they look like a great place to start

Hey arugula, sorry to hear that you had your feelings hurt. For some reason I tend not to be bothered in the slightest by those kinds of comments from people. I've never had anyone be really mean to me though, with an intent to hurt my feelings. If I don't know them well, I just tend to think that they're probably not awa

Hi everyone,
I'm doing some personal research into how to regulate electrolyte levels in the bloodstream with raw foods. I'll be reading lots online, but if anyone had some information regarding this matter I'd be glad to hear it.
In particular, I'm going to look into how sodium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium (as well as others I may not be aware of) help regulate the correct

Looking for something to wash down those chips, he discovered that his dollar bought 875 calories of soda but only 170 calories of orange juice." , I started a thread about it over here

Lois, just because it is being USED as a means of repression, doesn't NECESSARILY mean it is a fraud.
Even if, for example, I believe 9/11 is both being used as a means of repression and is a fraud.
I agree with your rule of thumb, but a rule of thumb is not a universal law of nature, there are exceptions.
And even IF global warming is not MAINLY man-made, we still have to deal with it,

They're both good points I think. In a free market I think the responsibility should lie almost entirely with the consumers, since they effectively create the market.
In a monopoly/oligopoly, the responsibility may lie much more on the producer, which is what seems to be the case here.
