Cynthia, I lost 10 lbs in 2 months, then I stopped weighing myself but I'm pretty sure I've lost more since then because my clothes are getting even looser. 10 lbs is a lot on me 'cos I'm very petite, but I did need to lose it and more! I do blog and post pics about my progress on my blog (in my signature) if you're interested. Food: Breakfast: None Lunch: 5.5 large bananas Dinner:

When you say fruitarian, do you mean no greens or veggies at all? For what it's worth, I once read a post by Dr. Graham on vegsource (I'm sorry, it was awhile back and I don't have a link) where he explained why we need greens... one may do fine on a completely fruitarian diet for a period of time (months...years...) depending on your previous lifestyle and hereditary influences from your fami

Hitokirian, You can lose, gain or maintain weight on this diet just as on any other. It depends on your goals and calorie intake. Do you know how to estimate the appropriate amount of calories you need for your height, weight, activity level etc? It's your body weight x 10, plus add a few hundred more for physical activity - depending on your activity level this can vary a lot. I am 4'11

Hitokirian, I think the reason most of us eat fewer times a day is so that it's easier on our digestive system. (Process of digestion takes up energy). If we grazed at smaller meals all day that would take away energy for digestion that we might need to be doing our regular activities. So no, it's not "wrong" to eat smaller meals but you may try bigger meals for awhile and see how

Thanks David...now I'm a little afraid of grapefruit. It's too bad because I was really enjoying it before, too. I really do think it was something on it because I've experienced no other severe detox symptoms in 2 months and this happened right after eating the grapefruit.

Food: Breakfast: None Lunch: 8 bananas Dinner: Salad - 2 romaine hearts, 20 oz grape tomatoes, 1 cucumber. Didn't eat nearly enough fruit today, but was very busy in the evening and chose between a salad or fruit so I wouldn't be eating until late at night. Should probably have chosen fruit but I really wanted my salad... Gosia, thanks! My transformation isn't quite done yet, I hope

Hi all, I'm not extremely concerned about this - but yesterday, I started feeling nauseous after having 3 very large grapefruit for dinner. Prior to that, I had eaten 10 small bananas at lunch time, maybe 6 hours before, so my stomach was empty by the time I ate the grapefruit. I have had no prior problems with citrus although I do not typically eat huge amounts of them. I've also eat

You don't need any fancy equipment. A blender is nice and helpful for times when you want smoothies or a salad dressing. I used my cheap $30 Oster one until it died after 5 years and then I bought another cheap $30 Oster one. Sure, a high powered Vitamix would be fun sometime, but it's not a necessity. Whole fruits and veggies are best. Juicing and dehydrating is fragmenting and processi
