What can you best contribute to life that you can uniquely offer?

Is it even important to be able to offer something unique? The Fresh Prince mused "Might be someone like me somewhere... just not here, where the hell they at? Who cares?". What say you? My best contribution is being kind to people - whether they are people I know and love or strangers I pass along the way. That's not unique, but it is both valuable and free! Perhaps my most unique contribution is my art. Thanks for asking! My favorite raw vegan Re: What can you best contribute to life that you can uniquely offer?

Date: November 25, 2009 11:06AM My most unique contribution is the ability to get back up when I've taken a spill and then have the perspicacity to know that I am not "starting over" but just "continuing on". I was gossiping the other day for like... one minute saying how this one person said something that I found rather insipid. But then the next day, I apologized to a friend for having had to listen to such retarded junk.
Yeah, I know.. not a big whopping deal but still... I gotta be honest. That's the skill that I have. Re: What can you best contribute to life that you can uniquely offer?

Date: November 25, 2009 11:13AM The other contribution that I have ( which strangely enough, I think is kind of "waning" is the fact that I have fairly good listening skills. My listening skills are pretty good but my patience... I need to work on. I used to be able to listen for a loooooooong time and be SUPER focused on what the other person was saying and actually "care". Now, I seem to want to cut the conversation short most of the time unless my attention is TOTALLY captured. Strange, how that is. Does that mean I am evolving or devolving. I don't know. But it is a partial skill and a somewhat "contribution" ( I think) nonetheless and... I think that the reason why my attention span seems to be rather curtailed lately is because I'm far more interested in cleaning up my side of the street rather than caring about other people's drama. Is this good or bad? Who knows? I call the shots in my life , i guess, so i say its " gooooooood".
so there u go, my partial contribution is that i'm a partially good listener LOL Re: What can you best contribute to life that you can uniquely offer?

Offer yourself to the World as you uniquely are (being the only one). Mold yourself to please yourself (not the World), and then and only then will you make a contribution to Life....WY P.S. Easier said than done. Re: What can you best contribute to life that you can uniquely offer?

Date: November 26, 2009 05:16AM I've got alot of thoughts on this subject, so I'll just rattle some off as I think about it.
You ARE unique. There is only one of you. It is not necessary to justify who you are. Bliss exists within knowing this. Being who you are IS contributing. Beingness is the state of grace. Our considerations of worthiness change like seasons, but only YOU always remain. When you choose to recognise value within something, it elevates your experience. Greatness occurs when one finds passion where none have sought it before. It is our gift and freedom to know ourselves as love. Only You can accept this. I am ! Nothing. Everything. I think it all depends on how hard I work and where I put my effort. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/27/2009 09:10PM by suncloud. Re: What can you best contribute to life that you can uniquely offer?
