Hey Jodi!

Did you actually start P90X or have you been like me and just admiring the pretty box it comes in?

I read the nutrition guide - ha ha - funny - although I was impressed that it did have a vegetarian option. Certainly far from optimal - but nonetheless was pleasantly surprised that it had that option. One serving of fruit per day? What the hell? I'd have a week's allotment of fruit done before breakfast was even half over.

I bought mine at the end of January - my schedule is now good for me to commit to the 90 days starting on the 10th.

A buddy would be awesome!

Sigh. I'd do it if I could afford the package. I've been wanting to try it out for ages, it looks so terrific. And I'm getting flabby... skinny but soft, it's not lovely.

I was lucky enough to pick it up for $100 CDN at a store.

I'm an exercise dvd junkie. I like a lot of variety.

Jillian Michaels' dvds are quite enjoyable - I was able to pick those up for $8 each.

Rodney Yee rocks for yoga.

Yup, still on board. Looking forward to it . . . somewhat excited and apprehensive about it - you'd think I was going on a blind date or something.

And yes, no "diet" thingy for me either. Although I would imagine my food intake will increase with the extra activity in addition to the activity I already do. Gotta stock up on them bananas!

I am so out of shape and such a mess now that I couldn't pass their "fit test".

P90X is an exercise program - a series of DVD's. Great fun and hard work. I tried the just be happy technique - didn't do much for my rippiness - seems I need to workout. smiling smiley

What I am doing in terms of working out consists of chasing kids around the house, lifting major piles of laundry, sweeping and mopping incessantly, carting groceries around, lugging stuff up and down stairs and yard work. It gives me an achy back and that's about it so far. Sigh.

Caring for kids and running a household is a lot of hard work. . . physically, emotionally, mentally. . . everything!

I no longer have kids to chase around or major piles of laundry or sweeping and mopping of the incessant nature. I still cart groceries around (fruit is heavy!) and use my stairs a lot and there's always the yard work. My day job consists of sitting on my butt in front of a computer all day so I have had to supplement my natural daily exercise with vitamin P90X.

So, how is this going? Are you all transformed into lean, muscular Adonii and Athenas? Should I be watching for any of you to appear on Ninja Warrior soon?

I am considering doing P90X in the future. I am in my third week of insanity right now, & I can tell you, if you follow the workouts as prescribed (minus the meal plans, lol) you will get toned/ripped.

And stronger as well; I have noticed I have been able to kick it up a notch in the weight room, adding to all my lifts.
