This is weird but I remember my dad reading me a book about a little girl whose father buys tofu every day...They were Japanese...strange thing is that this was in the early '70s and it was when tofu wasn't commonplace. I just remember feeling this wonderful feeling inside when he'd read it. I think he checked out from the library more than once. I would love to read that one again! Also, the Bobbsey Twins (LOL) and Nancy Drewsmiling smiley I LOVED that series!!!! Especially the orignial ones from the earlier years...Fun times.

The Tawny Scrawny Lion. He becomes a vegetarian after befriending a family of happy rabbits. It's adorable and whimsical and cute and endearing. I love it to this day.

I don't remember the name of the book because I believe I was very young, but I can't forget the pictures. The little mouse fell in love with the moon believing it was
a huge cheese.

I remember one about a racoon,a rabbit,and a rock.
"Scary Rock" I think it was called.

I liked the "Happy Hollisters" books too.

Then there was one, "Night Visitor" or something, about a man who would lose pieces of fruit during the night,so he set up a camera, and got photos of a bat flying in his kitchen stealing the fruit.
Pretty cool how you can remember books from the 4th grade.

Vinny
