Date: December 23, 2013 10:07PM That's an interesting quiz. I've spent nearly all of my life in Chicago and NE Ohio/western PA. My dialect pattern is in Rockford, IL, Toledo, and Akron. Pretty accurate. Re: How Y’all, Youse and You Guys Talk

Resistance is futile: Everyone in America must take the NYT’s dialect quiz [hotair.com] Re: How Y’all, Youse and You Guys Talk

Date: December 25, 2013 01:24PM I always figured you grew up in Vermont. Don't know where I got that idea
We also said things like - warsh the clothes, down the chimley, liberry books, fishing in the crick, up on the ruff. Maybe that was when we were little, before we got schooling. Re: How Y’all, Youse and You Guys Talk
