Date: May 10, 2008 11:49AM It isn't simple, in times like these I refer to the jingle " sometimes you feel like a nut sometimes you don't" Almond Joy has nuts, Mounds don't".. the edible part of the coconut is the seed. My husband with a severe tree nut allergy eats them regularly. Cashew is also a seed! Re: Are coconuts fruits or nuts?
