Spiralizer/raw pasta maker, which one?

Hi everyone. I am going raw at the moment. I really love the little machines which allow you to make raw spaghetti from raw vegetables. Sorry if this has been debated before. I would like your opinions on which machine is the best. Thanks.

I had a spiralizer for a while, but it melted in the dishwasher.

Now I have a very cheap handheld Kiwi brand shredder that does just as well. I got it from the Asian store. That is what I'd recommend. Except for one thing: more than once I have shredded part of my hand. But that is clumsiness more than anything.

Spiralizer works fine

But I just use a regular veggie peeler £1.50.. find it does me well..and I like the long thin strips of pasta..esp when making lasagna or a big salad

I just use a giant cheese grater that I bought from Ikea... and, yup, you REALLY have to watch the fingers. It's definitely not glamorous like the LOVELY noodles you get at the raw restaurants... but it gets the job done. I've kept my eyes open for a spiralizer, but haven't found one yet.

I have a Saladacco that I was given as a gift just a couple of months ago. I haven't used the Spirooli so I can't compare them, but the Saladacco is easy to use, simple to clean, and produces lovely zucchini pasta very quickly. I haven't yet tried anything harder, like carrot or beet noodles. Those would probably work, but might work better in a sturdier device.

It seems like everyone's really happy with whichever they own, so I guess that suggests you don't need to worry too much about being unhappy with whatever decision you make!

I have the spirooli and the saladacco. I like the noodles better on the spirooli, but the suction cup feet on the base of the spirooli don't work so great. I think a downward facing version (instead of sideways facing) might work better, as the unit wouldn't have the tendency to slip. Perhaps the benriner overcomes this deficiency.

I have saladacco and I the blades are getting worn out. I haven't used it that much either. I was thinking about getting a better one.

The Benriner Cook Help is the most expensive, but also THE best in my opinion. you can find it on Amazon.
