My turn to make the best smoothie
Posted by: sebzzz ()

Hi,

I'm drinking this while writing and it is surely the best green smoothie I made so far. I like to experience and this time it was worth it.

Here it goes:

1 mango
1 banana
1 kiwi
1 bunch watercress
2 Tblspoon fresh ground flax seeds
2 mini-bok choy
3 handfuls of fresh spinach

This gives me 40 Oz. of the delicious drink.

With the watercress, it has a mild kind of spicy taste that fits just well with the taste of the mango.

Wow, super good!

Sounds yummy.
Did you add any water?
Or is the liquid in the fruits enough to blend it?

I added a small amount of water to get a good consistency and to give a chance to my blender.

It was actually the first time I had watercress. I didn't really know about this one before now. It is a green leafy vegetable that appears to be growing in water.

It has a great taste while not being to strong so I think I will incorporate some in my smoothies more often.

I got it from my local produce store.

sebzzz.....I like Green Smoothies too. Your original
recipe has a good balance of Fruit and Greens. Keep
modifying it until you get it 'Perfect'. You might want
to try some stronger Greens......WY

Green Smoothie making is an Art in itself. The "Best Smoothie"
(as Sebzzz put it) doesn't have any one flavor 'jumping' out at
you, but is a nice Blend of many. I have a friend who uses Lemon,
and sometimes it overpowers.....WY
