How do I tell if my seeds and nuts have gone rancid? I have a small refrigerator so i can't store them there... Re: Rancid seeds

Date: June 21, 2006 11:32PM If you get any kind of burning sensation in your mouth when you eat them, your seeds are rancid.
Some seeds like sunflower seeds seem to go kind of stale (no longer have that same kind of crunch) before they actually go rancid. You might try buying nuts or seeds that are prepackaged in small quantities as much as possible. Aloha, Ally Re: Rancid seeds
