I finally bought a 40oz Kleen Kanteen.

Date: October 08, 2008 08:21PM Whole Foods now selling them and I meant to get one a while ago anyway..so I bought one. Same price without the extra cost for shipping.
Not sure I like it though. It's kind of awkward to drink out of once it's half gone. You have to like squish your nose in the bottle with your upper lip or open your mouth wider.. er something. Just an awkward shape when you're used to "normal" bottles. Re: I finally bought a 40oz Kleen Kanteen.

Date: October 08, 2008 10:31PM i considered that size for taking along with cups for sharing with the kids. that is more liquid than i need for myself, the 27oz is plenty! the 40oz would be good for a smoothie that you are going to drink half of later on. with a cup i mean. Date: October 09, 2008 04:18AM yes, absolutely, i find it very easy to handle and drink out of. i do have the sport cap as well though, i don't drink directly from the mouth of any jar as it contaminates the liquid within with mouth bacteria. maybe not important to some but it is to me, it makes water taste funky after an hour or so. I have an easier time drinking out of those big poland spring bottles..so its not the size it's just the shape of it. I think they concentrated too much on making a big hole so icecubes can fit in it and so liquids could easily be poured in it. Too bad drinking out of it isn't easy.
