Yes, and anyway, as the Original Poster, and aware that this thread has now had 619 views (gulp!), would stress again any nutrients missing one day can be found the next day, the next week, etc, from other foods.

As I'm so conscious that the thread title could so easily be misinterpreted/misquoted by the altering of a word or two, my point again was that 30 bananas IN a day can be a very good thing, for some people, in some circumstances (and that therefore blanket directives to 'everyone' not to 'over-eat' fruit are not justified).

I was NOT saying, 'Read this! Everyone - eat 30 bananas EVERY day (even if you don't feel like bananas at all), and nothing else - ever!)'

I know recent posters understand that, but just in case anyone hasn't...

I guess eating 30 bananas in a day could be good if I was shipwrecked on a desert island on a banana boat. I'd still hope to get rescued soon though. Unless I was wrecked with 30 maidens.

In that case you ought to give each maiden at least one banana per day until rescued.

Or you can munch on your doritos while waiting for your rice to finish cooking.
