only when I focus on the multitude of things that i sincerely appreciate deeply then... absolutely like right now it blows me away how much of nature goes about creating unbelievable things for beauty, health, utility, astoundingly good energy... the list is endless such lowly beautiful things and they are E V E R Y W H E R E and at all times if i only open my eyes enough to take a peek Re: whoeeey! what a bunch of LOW lifes!

I agree, I am so in love with red bell peppers right now I think I could eat them for eternity. Oh and we just cut open a papaya from heaven I think. I can't believe how good this wonderful thing is! Luscious. Re: whoeeey! what a bunch of LOW lifes!

Date: September 13, 2010 12:35AM yeah, i feel so lucky
just looking at the multitude of vegetables on my plate thinking about all the love and labor and sweat and backaches that took place in the procuring of this food and the orchestral harmonization of sunlight, CO2, soil, intent, etc. etc. AMAAAAAZING amounts of energy went into these lowly powerful crops make me a bit teary eyed imagining how the entire universe seems to want me alive when i stare at a bunch of spinach and tomatoes staring humbly back at me on my plate and even in the moment i am about to consume them they don't howl in protest on my fork such brave souls they are these low lifes Re: whoeeey! what a bunch of LOW lifes!

Date: September 19, 2010 02:41PM I was told by a Jehovah's Witness that some people just need to take in a mouth full of muck, refering to me of course, a low-life. It's so true. Re: whoeeey! what a bunch of LOW lifes!

kiwi stains on clothes and watermelon messes on desk DO qualify you for the initial initiation of fruity low lifedom keep it UP! loeve, what were they referring to as muck? was it fruit? or was it dirt on your spinach? just hand them an apple and eat your lemons Re: whoeeey! what a bunch of LOW lifes!

Date: September 20, 2010 10:43PM I think they were referring to my low mucky-muck past. I don't think they'd have gone for my home grown sour grapes and wormy apples but I like them fine. Re: whoeeey! what a bunch of LOW lifes!

Date: September 21, 2010 06:16AM its okay that i still don't understand the first part of their comment
i don't need to understand everything i hear or read about as far as the sour grapes go however, sounds cool i ate some grapes that were straight from the vine at someone's house truly truly a very memorable memorable event soooooo delicious and piquant what a TREAT! those grapes were to live for the worms in the apples though not my fare i don't like to share i found a bug in my fruit recently when i cut the fruit it had bugs all surrounding the pit i could do without the "extra" protein ya know? hey... maybe one of these days i'll feel magnanimously hearted and start sharing my food with the other low lifes that inhabit the soil but then again, i would have to carve the flesh of the fruit reaaaaal careful so i can have the pristine parts and the other insects/worms can have their sweet piece of real estate as well its all good Re: whoeeey! what a bunch of LOW lifes!

Date: September 21, 2010 11:14AM I haven't actually seen a worm in an apple in 30 years, just evidence that they've been there when the apple is carved up. I like to share with earth worms by composting though. The worms around my place have been very healthy these days slithering around in the mulch like little snakes. It really startles me to happen upon one. Re: whoeeey! what a bunch of LOW lifes!
