Re: Oh no! "Raw" products - acai, DHEA, Natural Defence, noni...

E3Live and Maca are not overhyped. The health benefits to your body won't necessarily be obvious and that's why you believe them to be grossly overrated. E3Live is nothing short of incredible as far as the nutrients that it feeds the body and how it stimulates the brain. Maca is an adaptogen. I could spend hours talking about the benefits of maca but it's easier to point you to [www.macaroot.com]. You decide for yourself. I spend no money on chocolate, raw or otherwise. I personally believe their is too much hype to it. However, the one product that I do use as part of my diet beyond the two mentioned is yerba mate'. One could basically survive solely on yerba mate' with the almost complete vitamin and mineral content. It's a miraculous drink and the South American's know it. However, the only way I drink it is the traditional way to extract all the power of yerba. This is in a gourd with a bombilla.

Here's a link.

Arugula, sorry for my spelling mistake but the second post I wrote did say "Err... that should have read "vegan DHEA"." I know what DHA is because I am the one who originally asked about it in a previous thread a few days ago!! LOL I should have know better than to mispell DHEA. I looked it up on Wikipedia and apperently its some king of hormone precursor. I could not understand much pf it though. Why would you want a hormone precurser. Doesn't the body make hormones through the endocrine system??

I am going to start a new thread about DHEA because I am really curious about it for anyone who is reading this and is wondering why is there another thread os this subject.

I just tried acai yesterday - ok LOVE it! love the flavor AND how clear & energetic it made me feel.

E3Live - same feeling - just in a green version.

Goji berries I've tried in the past & didn't like at all, they tasted like they wanted to be either sweet or tart but were neither. I'm sure some people like them but I thought they were gross.

Maca - not sure I feel anything from it. Maybe a warming sensation but I can't say for sure.

Cacao - def has an effect but along with the good there's a come-down, which sucks.

Natural cellular defense (zeolites) I'll prob try in the future.
