Date: July 30, 2011 03:55AM I have the Raw Food Bible buy Leslie Kenton (they have a few other books too).
I think all the recipes are simple and give good basic ideas for salads, juices, dressings, seed cheeses and dips as well as information about food combining. They are not 100% raw though - they also make suggestiong for the small % of cooked food that you may want to eat. Also there are no dehydrator recipes which I like! Apart from that there are also a lot of recipes on internet you can get for free. Re: cookbook recomendations for a new raw foodist

Date: August 03, 2011 08:59PM My favorite cookbook is Juliano's Raw The Uncook book. He's a bit "gourmet," but it was a great starting point for me. The whole book is a great read and not just some boring nutrition facts. After that, I think this site's recipe section is great and the rest is experimenting with the foods you like and/or have and getting random ideas form Barnes and Nobles/ the library.alissa cohen is also awesome (though i haven't actually seen her book, my recipes came from her raw food cert)
Go Juliano! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
