Nutrition tracking via fitday.com etc to monitor any ongoing nutrient short coming. Adequate rest and exercise are essential. Pelvic floor exercise for both men and women, very important and not to be overlooked. Adaptogenic herbs if needed for adrenal health. Love and trust with a good partner, emotional and mental state are more powerful than anything else. Re: Sexual Health

Date: October 29, 2011 10:15PM For men horny goat weed is supposed to do wonders. Its not really a food, but an herb. I noticed the chinese herbal medica index warns against consuming it in too large amounts, or over too long a duration. At the moment I don't know what is too much in either case. I am not sure how a raw vegan might consume this if interested. Re: Sexual Health

Date: October 31, 2011 11:15PM I found this book review online "jungle King secrets" it sounds interesting, and I would like to get a copy of this book at some point to see what other thigns are advised. It does make a number of diet related suggestions, but its not particulary vegan centered, but I could see how it could be adapted for a raw vegan. Its mostly for men, but the author makes a point for women reading the text to sub some female equivalents when reading. Re: Sexual Health

Date: March 22, 2012 07:02PM Organic sex means making babies. That is what sex was meant for. We enjoy the food that is good for us. Food has a purpose. Sexual organs have a purpose.
I know this is not a very popular view. These are bar facts, though. Re: Sexual Health

Date: March 22, 2012 08:46PM Rab, that's a little simplistic. Sex has many positive health impacts despite whether babies are conceived or not. And whether a child is conceived or not has no impact on a man's health at all. Come on now. Re: Sexual Health

Date: March 22, 2012 09:15PM Do you have an opinion on this for women? The one time I managed to follow Mantak Chia's advice on reabsorbing orgasmic energy I seriously injured myself and haven't tried it since. I was much younger with less control but it was offputting enough that I've shied away from it to this day. Powerful, yes. Controllable, oh, not so much . Re: Sexual Health

Date: March 22, 2012 11:11PM Agree. I see this as a male thing though. Women should have as many as they want...or can. We become depleted through orgasm, they don't.

There really isn't a comparable version for females. Which I consider good news, but hey! Re: Sexual Health

Date: March 23, 2012 12:11AM It was an energetic drawing up into the spine rather than an outward releasing of orgasmic power into the universe though. Supposed to replenish the energetic body rather than deplete it. Hurt like a mother, OMG. Re: Sexual Health

Date: March 23, 2012 12:25AM I haven't seen the Mantak Chia techniques for women, but the ones for men are harsh and I don't like them. What I do instead is just go to the place just before the point of no return, and just back off.
A woman I play with told me that her energy is higher if she doesn't orgasm, and her desire and feeling for me are high all the time, even after sex and the following days. If she has an orgasm, she doesn't to not want to see me so soon after sex. Also, her energy is just higher all the time without orgasm. But she still feels the effects of the lovemaking for 2 to 3 days even without orgasm. I think for women who are playing with raising their energy so that they have clearer access to their higher consciousness, they can feel the effect of orgasm versus non orgasm in sex. But yes, I think the health consequences for women are nowhere as dire as the ones for men for the people who indulge in regular or plentiful orgasms. Edited 1 time(s). Date: March 24, 2012 04:04AM Yes, I agree with Prana on this one. It takes control, but the sexual energy remains high. Apart from that, a raw vegan diet in conjunction with exercises like pilates, which strengthens your core muscles and increases your control of these is very beneficial.
