what power is in a seed

an apple seed
kale seed
orange seed

what goes beyond the DNA
who designed it so that it feeds animals and people

what is in this seed

it has the intent to feed us
it feeds us because it loves us ( even if they fight sometimes too)

is the seed

LOVE?

does all of life LOVE us?

is that why it does what it does

feeding and nurturing us?

pretty spiffy

if u ask me

The power is God.

But yes....love.Survival.existence,being.
The great I AM.

A simple seed can teach us the very essence of God.
In such a simple and readily observable form.

I fill up a jar with water, sprinkle in a few spoon fulls of seeds, and in days there is a full jar of living food.
This simple activity has gotten me thru some of my worst days believe it or not.
Growing plants can be one of the most reassuring things we can do.

I read a very interesting book called, "The Botany of Desire" and it had a section on apples. Although most orchards now have trees grown from grafts to ensure they get the same apple tree every time, if you take the seeds from one apple tree and plant them, they will make DIFFERENT apple trees!!! The crazy fact is that there are over 7,000 different kinds of apples! ...And you thought there were only the few you see in stores. HA!

Yeah, Trive, I have an apple tree in my backyard, and no one knows what she is because of how she was propagated by a previous owner of the house. The owner crossed a few trees from the abandoned Moravian orchards that litter this area. My poor apple tree's infested with ants and dying, and I feel that this is the death of a totally unique individual and it makes me so sad, so very sad . . . .

Seeds are fantastic little fractal universes in a tiny package smiling smiley Gonna go soak some for sprouts right now!
