Are these fermented foods goitregns?
Things like cabbage/kraut and soy/shoyu or miso.
In theie raw state they are apparently not advisable...

Hi Rosemary! I'm no expert, by I do have a site with some info.

www.stopthethyroidmadness.com I haven't read all the info on the site, but they do have a list of foods and you might be able to find out about the "fermented affects" from them. Let us know what you find out. I went for years eating every bit of soy that I could - thinking that I was doing "great things" for myself!

Oh well! I feel really good, now. I used to need a nap every day, but now I have steady energy all day long and no slumps.

Good luck with that!

alive, I also had serious issues after eating too much soy. I am glad I figured it out and cut it out of my diet completely - and out of my daughters diet! Yikes.
