I disagree... grass/sprouts (including juicing), algae, and sea vegetables are some of the most essential things to include on a raw vegan diet, especially in the long-term. If you can grow your own fruits and vegetables (organically), or find them out in nature, they are very healthy, although too much sugar regardless of where it's coming from is unhealthy and ages you. Store-bought fruits are typically weeks old and shipped hundreds of miles, they have severely depleted nutrients and enzymes. But one who exercises can eat more fruit than one who is sedentary.

Distilled water, exercise, and consistent detox strategies such as colon hydrotherapy and infrared saunas are of vital importance as well.

Probably an account created by powerlifter so he could respond to himself to try and further bash the raw food diet. Remember, he's most likely an internet shill.

Are you for real ?

You've been here all of what 3 weeks or something and you've got the brash to say im signing up as imposters.

Go back to recommending your imaginary diets that you haven't even successfully completed a week of yourself yet.

Why on Earth would sprouts/grass, sea vegetables, and algae be unhealthy and where is your evidence to support this? You're wrong if you believe this.

You started in 2010. And I've been on this forum since 2006. It's no biggie though.

LOL...sorry...winking smiley I guess I am so used to shilling that I cannot tell honest dissent from Big Pharma hoe-ing...

The story "I was a Paid Internet Shill" suggests that their MO is to cozy up to people on message boards and embed themselves for long periods of time, though. So it does happen all the time, I am sure. Eventually, they go off the rez and show their ass!

I have no doubt shilling probably happens although not in the sense that you think it does. What are you basing this on ?

The fact that the OP hasn't been back to reply in under 24 hours and that they were willing to ask questions why these gurus don't look great in there first post ?

Prana if your hanging around at the moment, do your background checks and put this to bed please.

The level of unsubstantiated paranoia that some of you guys show is worrying.

"What caused this rapid aging?"

Ari, I asked the same question after I aged about 10 years in 11 months and became pre-diabetic following a high carb raw vegan diet. The problem turns out to be glycation and "Advanced Glycation End Products", or AGEs. The way to avoid this is to restrict carbs. I'm still working at this and generally am still around 30% but would like to get down to under 25%.

Currently I am on the Tavis Bradley raw vegan "Conductivity Diet" and am doing much better. I have replaced high carbs with high raw fats. It is a much healthier way to go 100% raw, IMO. People say I look much better, too. I have been at a 65% fat level for around eight months now. The Conductivity Diet makes it MUCH easier to stay 100% raw. It's totally satiating and I am still nice and thin.

Whatever flavor of diet or lifestyle you choose, make sure you're eating a balanced diet. It's easy to poo-poo nutrients because we all think we have the "perfect" diet, but there are MANY versions of both raw and SAD, so use a food diary like [cronometer.com] (free) to track & make sure you're getting what you need.

Also, in a high fat raw vegan diet, it will be impossible to keep the omega6/omega3 ratio balanced.

For Panchito, and others who are interested in the process and effects of glycation, here is an eye-opening video primer I think is excellent...

Also, Panchito, I weigh and log everything I eat at chronometer and have had no problem keeping my omega 6 omega 3 in perfect balance. If you are interested I can give you my favorite recipe for achieving this while maintaining an average of 60% fat intake.

I have no doubt shilling probably happens although not in the sense that you think it does. What are you basing this on ?

See, now you're starting to get me a'thinkin' again... Yes, I now believe that it's possible that at least a full third of all posts online are by paid trolls for different Illuminati factions. Even the racist remarks. In terms of "basing it on" something, I don't subscribe to that way of viewing the world. So I sense things rather than try to substantiate it on the mundane level to make it tangible for the five senses. The scientific model holds no sway over me whatsoever.

I have been told I am an intuitive but to me it's just being very perceptive. For instance, I think it's odd that people who disagree with a certain concept would expend massive amounts of energy in it. Not speaking of you specifically but I have seen people write multiple posts under one video on topics like anti-vaccines, anti-meds, veganism, etc. And sometimes there are tag-teams with people coming on, thumbing down comments and ridiculing the people. Look on Natural News and you see it every day. They always imply the person is crazy ("tin foil too tight" is a cliche of theirs) and use other methods like shaming them (implying that they are irresponsible for not getting vaccines or spreading misinformation).

So yeah, I think the Internet is infested with shills and that's the only reason it's allowed to still exist--to brainwash we the sheeple. winking smiley

Hey BW,

It's a shame that I have to do this, but so many people have a hard time putting 2 + 2 together, so let me do it for those who need a little help.

In an earlier Post, you wrote...

"Look on Natural News and you see it every day. They always imply the person is crazy ("tin foil too tight" is a cliche of theirs)..."

And then, when Chris wrote...

"Illuminati ? lol This just gets worse."

Your reply was...

"My tinfoil is too tight. What can I say? winking smiley eye rolling smiley"

Once again, it's a shame that I have to put 2 + 2 together, but I am constantly reminded that some people's comprehension skills leave much to be desired.

By the way, I too think it’s odd, if not downright suspicious “that people who disagree with a certain concept would expend massive amounts of energy in it!!!”

Peace and Love..........John

LOL...yeah...kinda made my point, I suppose. Gee, I hope this is not true. I am a bit of a contrarian myself (not just for the sake of argument, but I happen to hold unpopular opinions sometimes)so I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but I also believe that the Universe always pulls back the curtain eventually. Happy New Year, by the way. Great to see you posting again...

Yeah well, I have no sockies (sock puppets) on this site. And I sure as hell wouldn't pull a Ferdinand Pessoa and create multiple pseudonyms that argue with each other. But I bet there is at least one member who does this and I also think that some of the low-fat trolls are DR...

I really do apologize and same to you in the new year. I am just becoming more and more aware of paid trolls because I come across them so often online, to the point that it has become quite tiresome to always have to fend off attacks from these fake posters.

One thing that I did notice with you, however, is that ever since you came back you seem much more open about dissing raw foods. Before you seemed more in the middle and while I appreciate a bit of equal time to other views, it made me wonder what your true motive was, in light of other people accusing you of shilling. I never even thought that of you but then I see that every post you seem to argue against raw and I never saw that in you before you left. So if I am wrong about all this, I am sorry, as I have said prior.

Cool aslong as were getting home truths out, i guess i think of you as abit of a drama stirrer. The majority of your posts are to fire up the drama it seems or posting some matt monarch or durianrider drama.

Also every single one of my posts are being attacked, even 100% pro vegan plant food ones so that might give you an idea why my posts are more highlighted recently.
