Date: June 20, 2014 12:29AM Fruits l enjoy the most:
1. watermelon 2. blue berries (never properly ripe, but will eat them sometimes because they are a blue food) 3. strawberries (don't eat them...not properly ripe) 4. apricots (usually don't eat them...not properly ripe) 5. nectarines (don't eat them...not properly ripe) Vegetables: NONE. Don't see the point in eating greatly inferior vegetables when l can eat sprouted greens instead. Re: Your Top 3 Fruits and Top 3 Veggies

JPrindl: I am being very strict here. If you couldn't choose cukes, what would it be? Re: Your Top 3 Fruits and Top 3 Veggies

I love radishes by themselves. So zesty. I usually will eat veggies with dressing so it's nice to be able to eat something as is. And radishes have mustard oil--I don't know if it digests protein or anything similar, but my system always feels good after eating them. Raw onions and garlic are hard for me to stomach (although I do for flavoring) because they seem particularly strong to me compared to radishes. Re: Your Top 3 Fruits and Top 3 Veggies

Date: June 21, 2014 02:13AM Hey, nanners,
Where do you get your radishes? I buy the organic ones, from Cal-Organic, I think, or Earthbound, at the Kroger whenever I see them, though I know not why: They seem to have had the zing bred right out of them! I wish I could still find the zippy radishes of yore somewhere. Will check farmers markets later this season, I guess. P.S. "Zippy Radishes of Yore" is copyrighted for when I form a Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band cover band in old age. Re: Your Top 3 Fruits and Top 3 Veggies

They cost a pretty penny, too. I was figuring out cost per radish, LOL. I go back and forth between buying conventional bunched radishes, which look fresher and those bags with the tops taken off, which seem hotter. I wonder if the older ones develop more mustard oil...The younger ones are almost sweet. Nice to hear from you, Tam! Re: Your Top 3 Fruits and Top 3 Veggies
