do green smoothies count towards water intake?

Date: February 10, 2016 05:49AM I make a green smoothie everyday with 5 bananas, 2 cups of frozen mango and blueberries, apple, spinach, and 20 ounces of water.
This makes 60 ounces total. Does that all count toward water intake? Re: do green smoothies count towards water intake?

Date: February 12, 2016 04:10PM LOL...Just teasing. ![]() I think the real issue is whether or not plain water is indicated if you are eating lots of water-rich foods and drinking juices/smoothies throughout the day. I am the type who has typically never gone out of my way to drink plain water regularly. I would like to take it up, at least in a moderate way. But depending on the level of raw consumed, it is not as necessary, I would think. Cooked foods are what makes people thirsty, right? And the foods are dehydrated due to the heat so replacing water would make sense. Also there is the issue of not having to process anything with just water, hence the idea of a water fast versus a juice fast. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/12/2016 04:11PM by banana who.
