Raw Cereal Help

I found a recipe online for raw cereal and I made it yesterday - only problem is that it was probably the most untasty raw thing I've ever eaten despite loving all the individual ingredients. Can anyone tell me things I could add or change from this that would make it better tasting?

Ingredients:
1 cup pecans
1/2 cup walnuts
2T flax seed
1 cup raisins
1 cup sesame seeds
1 cup sunflower seeds

Directions:
Add all ingredients in food processor, mix well.

Any ideas?? Someone I talked to suggested just eating it like that without the food processor...think that may help?

How about simplifying it? I think I would like

1 cup raisin
1/4 cup almonds

For my simple recipe, I would eat it without the processing.

My daughter made up a cereal. Bananas cut up with nut butter and honey on top. Sometimes I add raisins. It satisfies our cereal cravings.

you can sprout whole oats and blend them with warm water, raisins and cinnamon.
soaked and dehydrated buckwheat is crunchy and delish.
almonds crushed and sprinkled on chopped fruit.

Thanks for all of the suggestions smiling smiley
We're going to the store tonight so I am going to just simplify my recipe as Bryan suggested. I'm not big on almonds (not sure why since I love almond milk...) so I'm going to mix pecans and raisins without the processing. Hopefully this will taste better smiling smiley

I buy a raw cereal and it is DELICIOUS! The ingredients include pecans, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, dates, young coconut, apples & blueberries. It looks as if they just blend the fruit, mix in the nuts & dehydrate. When I get a dehydrator sometime I will try to make it.
