Will your skin turn yellow-green look?

Date: May 17, 2007 03:11PM Hi all,
I am still in transition to 100% raw though. I am eating losts of green vegetables such as broccoli, letuce, cucumber...One of my friend told me that my skin will turn yellow-greenish look if I eat them everyday? Is this true? Thank you. Re: Will your skin turn yellow-green look?

lol sorry im being a smartypantz =p some people get carotenemia , a yellowing of the skin from overeating carrots and such myself , the vegans and vegetarians that i know of personally has not had this happen

Date: May 18, 2007 08:15PM No, you won't turn yellow-green. But you will pick up a slight orange cast. If you can't see it on your face, you will see it on your palms, especially when you hold one next to the palm of a SAD eater.

Date: May 20, 2007 12:06PM My skin has definitly changed since going high raw. I have a golden glow to my skin now. People ask me if I tan all the time but nope It's only from lots of greens and vegetables. Re: Will your skin turn yellow-green look?
