Date: May 29, 2007 02:14PM I read an article in Teen Vogue over the weekend (which I don't normally read) and there was something in there on being a vegetarian and that A LOT of teens are converting to that. I read on and it said that eating a vegetarian diet is dangerous and needs to be monitored or you can get sick. That you need to make sure that you are getting the right vitamins and protien and Omega 3 that is vital to health. The first thing I thought was this is crap and it's just trying to make people not want to be a VEG but I was wondering if any of you had the same view. Re: Doctor or Nutricionist?

There's more omnis eating dangerously and getting sick. If you ask me. But some vegs are lax about some of their requirements. They won't be automatic pillars of health if they are too lax. Anyway I'd trust the American Dietetic Association more than Teen Vogue. Here is the ADA's position statement on Vegs: [www.cse.nd.edu] Re: Doctor or Nutricionist?
