Bittersweet flavors

It has such a complex flavor, mostly slightlybittersweet, with a lingering finish. But the season is so short. Right now most of the fruit are drying up and starting to drop on the tree. They are about 1/2 the size of a cherry, with a pit. Anyways I am so annoyed that the commercial market is geared towards overly sweet, and rather less complex flavored food.
Does anyone know of alternatives to get this bittersweet flavor, I just crave it! Re: Bittersweet flavors
