I've noticed that in the scientific study of such things as nutrition, we break things down and often develop incomplete conclusions based on the analysis of seperate components when biological processes tend work in synergy.

Like for example how our bodies need a certain element, so we premote taking it in an extracted form, only to find out that our bodies metabolise it only in conjunction with another 1 or 3, and that nature produces these nutrients in perfect balance in its living material.

I feel that most of our knowledge in nutrition is flawed in this way.. we don't understand enough about the relationship of the components to each other and as a whole, so I don't accept peoples opinions as facts even when they are backed by so called science.

This is why I think that avocados probably would not have a detrimental effect, but I'm definately keen to know more so thankyou for your perspective.
