If this gaiayoga is the place I'm thinking of, I know a guy who went there recently. He may still be there, I don't know. I can ask him to contact you if you want. He once told me that he was having a great time there, that's really all I know about his experience there.

I'm interested to know about the one in Cal. How about a link or a name?

I cant access the page right now..

but if you go to Rawreform blog, its linked there-- there are two spaces currently

The Hawai one seems more affordable and a community where you can work/study/grow.. seems more for me deffinately

I don't think gaiayoga is vegan, nor strictly raw. But I think it's open to both.

the website suggests they are 100% raw vegan

eitherway its about 5 times cheaper than the others I have checked out..and ..seems more a full on commune..rather than basically a flat share...

feeling positive..anyway arranging a visit..seems the first step smiling smiley

Yes, Rawdanceruk, send them an email and see about visiting. I think they sound splendid and very open and not closed minded to some other options to eating raw..like maybe sushi, etc. They also say clothing optionalsmiling smiley

I'd love to look good enough to go without clothing..hahaha..in privacy ok..or even swimming in the ocean would be cool. I need at least some covering in publicsmiling smiley They are all dressed in their pics.

What is your timeline like?

Love,
Prism

Thanks, I have had an email from them and application form

The nudity dosent bother me, but I am not too sure about being around people eating raw meat-- but then again.. there are a HUGE amounts of pros

well I now have to book if I want any time off 2008, bearing in mind september and august are now fully booked at work..

so.. I guess as soon as finances allow, with working on business plan right now..not too sure..see how things go in january smiling smiley

If you get a great plane ticket price let me know. I think if you check out cheaptickets.com that may be of help. As for their fee of the $375 for the 2 month stay, you might email them and ask about cutting it, or dropping it possibly. Sometimes if you simply ask for a break you are given one. It's a work type exchange anyway, so they may be willing.

Good luck and keep us informed!

When I read their sexuality section I was confused a little. I was picturing people having sex anywhere/everywhere. I don't know if that would bother me I would just ignore it.

Rawdanceruk, have you gone to the place? My friend is raw but not vegan, not vegetarian. I only know that when he was here in Korea, he ate raw fish, and raw eggs. He said the gaiayoga place is raw but not vegetarian. They teach Permaculture there too. Great. That's one reason my friend went.
