Kale combined with fruit ?

Im not to sure if it is ok to combine kale with bananas or other fruit, i know that lettuce is a good combination with fruit but not sure about kale. Also i have read that fruit and bananas in particular are alkaline when eaten alone or when not combined with other fruits, if im right about this then will the bananas or other fruit still be alkaline in the body if eaten with kale. Date: December 15, 2007 01:30AM I've made many raw smoothies with kale and fruit and have had no problems. But that's me. My body appears to have assimilated the raw diet to a point where any combination of raw produce is okay. Someone posted the food combining link below on another thread. Good luck.

Date: December 15, 2007 10:07PM Victoria Boutenko does it.. You can (and should) mix any greens with fruit. It is not bad food combining because leafy greens are not considered vegetables.
