Date: March 16, 2008 03:09PM Hey, all. I was wondering if items like sweet potatoes (raw) could be pureed in a food processor or if you need a Champion. Anyone try it? [utopiankitchen.wordpress.com] Re: Pureeing w/o a Champion Juicer

Date: March 16, 2008 07:04PM You can puree them in an ordinary blender but you will have to chop them in fairly small pieces and add water.
Or you can do it in two steps: first the food processor, then the blender, still need to add some water but less than with a blender only. Re: Pureeing w/o a Champion Juicer

Date: March 17, 2008 07:46PM I had a raw sweet potato pie from a raw restaurant that was HEAVENLY--just like regular. I think it had dates and avocado, and who knows what else. When I did it, it was chunky and didn't really taste like much. I bet spices add a lot. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
