dehydator

I just got my first dehydrator!! so excited....i am amking stuffed mushrooms right now!!
The one i got does not have a temperature gage on it? How do i know what temp its dehydrating at?
is this bad for my food?

Anything dried is going to have less enzymatic activity...so in my opinion it's not as vital and sustaining...but it's all about YOUR goals and YOUR enjoyment...you know? In any event, you can pick up a cheap kitchen thermometer/probe to tell you what temperature it is.
