You can compost meat, fish, dairy in a fermenting (anaerobic) compost system like a "bokashi". I rotate a couple bokashi buckets for the things that are either unhealthy for my vermiculture (like citrus peels) or when my food preparations generate more kitchen scraps than my worms can keep up with. I've never seen a NatureMill before but I could see its advantages if I ran a restaurant and needed to process massive amounts of kitchen scraps. My garden space is small and usually intensely planted with perennial herbs. The only limitation with my bokashi is finding available space to "plant" its results for its final processing.
