That would get quite messy since I grow my Wheatgrass in the Living Room on a large Cocktail Table. I use a potting mix called Lambert's that I buy at Home Depot. You don't need a bowl to grow grass, any large container in your kitchen will do. Anything glass would probably be best, plus you'll get to see the roots growing......WY Edited 1 time(s). ------------------------------------------------------- > Where do you get your seeds WY? I've been under a lot of Stress the last few months because I'm running out of seed from my favorite supplier (Crystal Organics....who has gone out-of-business). I found a new supplier, and my first bowl of grass with this new seed is looking very good. The seed you get at food stores is 'utility grade' and inferior to the best. It's okay if you just want to dabble, but if you want to 'get serious'....well, you get the picture. Dogwood Gardens sells in 7, 12, and 50 pound amounts. I bought 7 as a trial amount. Ask for their Best Seed if you order, because she said it sometimes varies........WY [www.wheatgrassman.com] Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
