Was practicing more or less in the zen tradition for the last 5 or 6 years, but lately have been studying and practicing more in the Theravada tradition. I have a blog on the Satipatthana Sutta (Four Foundations of Mindfulness) at Once a week I sit with the folks at my local korean zen sangha: And ocassionaly (though it's been a year or more) do retreats at Zen Mountain Monastery.

Yari, I am new here (very new) but since I feel we have a kind of dharmic connection (I practice Zen Theravada Buddhism) I feel it's ok to respond to you. Yes the ego is the problem, but it's not really a matter of having one or not having one. How are you using it?
