This article starts with this: "Half as many boys as girls are being born in some places around the world—and pollution is the prime suspect." I think it is scary and is another indication that the human species could be headed towards eventual extinction if we don't stop poisoning ourselves. Another excerpt from the article: “There are environmental and other factor

Yes, Camille, it is amazing that we live that way and don't even realize that it could be so much better. That sounds good (strawberries & spinach), Pam. Yes,in a way you are lucky that you can't eat nuts. But I don't envy the teeth pain you are enduring. I think nuts are acidic and concentrated, like the cooked food we miss. I did pass up on the nuts in the breakroom at work today and I d

I wanted to be a missionary doctor when I was young and go to Yemen where the doctors to people ratio was the lowest. Then I thought I wasn't smart enough to be a doctor, so I dropped that idea. Jodi went to school to be a massage therapist. She could probably give you advice in that area. You are sounding positive today! Let us know how the counseling on schooling goes.

Exactly, the brain is an organ but our mind is everywhere. That's why our emotional state affects us so much. A friend made that same statement about the mind years ago and I ask her where she got it and she said she made it up. lol But it is so-o-o true!

Actually, after eating high raw for a long time I find I get chilled less easily. I think it's because my thyroid is working more efficiently. This is an excerpt from this website : As spring opens up the Northern hemisphere to a variety of outdoor activities, many people flock to nature. However unlike our ancestors, who developed rapid physiological adaptations to outdoor activity and tem

Interesting, fresh, thanks for telling me that. In her book she said the doctors diagnosed it as Type 1 and wanted him on insulin right away. I guess there is no way to know for sure now. Kind of gives me less hope to reverse mine, but I will keep trying and if nothing else the raw diet sure helps me to manage it better. Did you enjoy the raw summit?

I might try the sunflower oil since I tested as allergic to sesame seeds years ago. Just to play it safe. I will probably wait until the weekend to try it. I might also try that salt in water cleanse that someone posted - 2 T in 12 ounces of water then lay on right side for 30 minutes (near toilet). Have you heard of that?

See the discussion above about the Raw for 30 Days video. It is cool and it helped people with Type 2 Diabetes, but just to let you know, there have been many diets that help with Type 2 Diabetes - the RICE diet, the McDougall Diet and exercise. But the raw diet does have other advantages on top of preventing Type 2 Diabetes. If you go for it, keep us posted!

Conventional beans, rice, cooked legumes, and wheat all have lots of pesticides sprayed on them too... At least with fresh, raw produce (even if it is conventional) you have those great live nutrients to help counter any toxins & fiber to help push things through. Not so with meat, dairy, wheat, etc. You might like this How To Win An Argument with a Meat-Eater. Here is an excerpt fr

Have you seen this website? He says oil pulling helps to heal many diseases. I may have to start trying it! Here's an excerpt. In the morning before breakfast on an empty stomach you take one tablespoon in the mouth but do not swallow it. Move Oil Slowly in the mouth as rinsing or swishing and Dr Karach puts it as ' sip, suck and pull through the teeth' for fifteen to twenty minutes. Th

I found this article about walking meditation that I thought was good, in chetday.com's newsletter: Mindful Walking for Health by Thich Nhat Hanh I would like to speak a little now about walking. When you move from one place to another, please practice mindful walking, no matter how short the distance. Perhaps you have used a seal before. When you stamp a seal onto a piece of paper,

I have a vegetarian daughter and I want to give her Omega 3, but she doesn't eat fish. I've given her flaxseed oil and krill oil. But I think I have found a better option and I ordered some V-Pure from . They say: Omega-3, EPA & DHA doesn't come from fish, it comes from algae, the food they eat. V-Pure is a highly concentrated and 100% toxic free, organic source Omega-3 from a sustainab
