Did not exercise today, but I did take a really long nap. I feel blessed that my schedule allows these naps when I need them! Food: 2 bananas trail mix little bit of black tar (Juliano's recipe) tomato salad w/ pine nuts,red onion, red bell pepper, pepperoncinis and herbs de provence dressing (bottled, but I'm not going to beat myself up about it. Besides, it's pretty healthy.)

OK, I'm taking a leap of faith here and starting yet another raw journey. My motivation stems from two recent events. One of which was turning 40. The other? A friend, who is not a runner, talked me, who is also not a runner, into signing up for a half-marathon. It takes place in 70 days. Hi everyone!! Anyone want to share an opinion about something? I am losing weight (again) on a low-fat raw diet. I'm having an ambitious day imagining myself rail thin...LOL...and wondered if it is important to lose all the "cooked fat" on my body in order to thoroughly detox and then build back up from there? Do some research on vitamin C. This happened to me as well when I went 100% raw for 9 months and it *was* scary to lose SO much hair! I later told a friend about it and she mentioned it having to do with vitamin c deficiency. I don't have time to research it myself, but you might look into it. It is a perplaxing problem!

All the times I have gone raw, I have felt different almost immediately. I don't know where you are weight wise, but you will most probably lose some weight which will make you look different! Hi! I am trying out Doug Graham's 811 diet and am having a hard time getting enough calories. So far I have been eating mono meals and not combining anything. I thought that I could get more calories in via smoothies, in particular green smoothies. However, I don't want the fruit/veggies to ferment due to bad food combining. Will taking enzymes prevent fermentation due to bad food combining? I
