I don't understand your question since you talk about not eating fruit and you talk about eating avocadoes. Please clarify.

I have said multiple times I'm not an 80-10-10er, just FYI. Even in this very thread I reference eating up to 15-20% of calories from fat (and I've been mentioning it and suggesting more fat for years). And Suez, I think most of us are used to your passive-aggressive insults and BS. I just wanted to say it's not cute.

My period hasn't stopped or lessened after almost 7 years raw. HTH However, days of cycle could change from a change in diet or exercise.

I think some of us would prefer to avoid empty-calorie (vitamin and mineral devoid) isolated fats, proteins, carbohydrates, and eat whole foods and get fat in the form of fruits & vegetables (some more fatty than others like avocados, coconuts, and also nuts, seeds. cold -pressed or not, it's still a processed food.

La Veronique, I have no problem ignoring the people who don't want to respect you and answer the question at hand. I wanted to say, as well, that if a high-veggie/lower fruit diet is working for you, I don't think any of us respectful individuals here would tell you you are "wrong" and that there is something 'wrong' with what you're doing. Keep it up!

Yeah, the problem with this board is that you give your opinion and people feel entitled and pompous to reply with drama and name-calling with their experience as if that changes yours, it's so argumentative on here I find it unbelievable this forum still exists. I think you have to start with the idea that your predominant calories are going to come from somewhere (assuming you don't want a r

Hi, I eat more than 10% of calories from fat but get most of my calories from fruit. That said, I eat a mineral rich high dark green diet and I believe this is one of the reasons why I thrive versus the high-carb/ers who eat just to eat carbs and dont necessarily get enough greens/veggies/nutrition. I don't know what their answer would be. I don't know if you want my reasoning or not, based

I'm a raw lifter and I eat plenty of greens. And of course fruit! Some nuts and seeds. Love tomatoes, zucchini, and other non sweet fruits.

Out of respect for people who have a simple question they want answered, can the nonstop back and forth arguments that are repeated over and over when temp comes back be pushed to another thread? I know you may think it's important, but the OP probably doesn't want to weed through this personal stuff.

An important life lesson is that you can't control other people and what they do/think. You can only control yourself. So just as much raw as you can and smile.

Can you do a micronutrient calculator for a few days and see as well? Have you read 80/10/10? Its suggestions are quite different than banana-date smoothies, IMO.

All of us may give up at one time. Live one day at a time, in the present moment, and love yourself for who you are. Start with eating more fresh/raw/organic/ripe fruits and vegetables, especially hydrating sweet fruit and greens.

Fruits veggies nuts and seeds have plenty nutrients and omega 3s. Fruits and veggies particularly have perfect ratios. Some nuts do, some dont. You can easily look these up at nutritiondata.com to confirm and use nutritional trackers. :-) i dont recommend long term nut and seed avoidance amd whatever you do eat your greens and avoid grains. Sprouts are great. People on this site assume all frui

I've heard that, too. I guess it takes longer than opening up a package of god-knows-what or preparing gourmet raw (soaked and dehydrated) recipes.
