It seemed a given that bad side effects from this vaccine were going to surface. I'm thinking that producing this drug and attempting to make it mandatory was all about drug company profit and not much else. Kit

Hi la_veronique, I'm so glad you liked it. I know it only from the movie Bagdad Cafe which I saw a long time ago. Maybe it was written for the movie? It's performed on the movie soundtrack by Jevetta Steele. Back then I tried unsuccessfully to find the song at a music shop. I think Jevetta is better known now. I've heard Jeff Buckley and/or Bob Telson wrote it. I remember thinking how well it

Yesterday at work I was driving through some trees and towing something. I accidently got the thing I was towing too close to a redwood. Trying to back up wasnt working because space was too tight. Damn, I cursed at myself because I really didnt want to hurt that tree. The only thing I could do was pull forward scraping it and wincing as I went. Afterward I looked at the tree. Pink was show

Hi Mislu, When things get bad I have found that making one doable goal a day and then doing it helps. For instance, vow to wash your car (if you have one) or something you think you can reasonably accomplish. This way at the end of the day if you are not feeling like a million bucks at least you will have accomplished SOMEthing. But do make it something you can do because if you dont do it

Jose, Thanks for the entertainment. I guess the eyes are black eyed peas? That orange really looks like it's screaming and/or crying. The teeth, the inside mouth and the squint are pretty darn good. Those mushroom people are great. I like how the ones are upside down with the 'hair' sticking out. Kit

cynthia, Good tip to try-I'm glad it's been working for you. I don't know about you but most times I can resist temptation, it's just those few dangerous times. coco, I'm not turning away any suggestions, thanks. Arkay, Water is good, it's easy, harmless and obviously hydrating. I also like your idea of training the brain that you can resist temptation. Telling yourself you can give in

Wow-Thank You everyone for all your responses. It's like throwing a net out and coming home to see what you've caught. David, As fate would have it I'm a pretty good dancer, at least according to me Perhaps I can ease up on technical aspects of certain steps. I like that you put in the word realistically. I have many times read of others people's experiences going raw w/ comments like &

Werewolf, I hear you. Yes, it happens to me too. I had heard that Lara bars were good so I bought some on sale. They were pretty good but they set cravings in motion and you can bet one bar is not enough. Who are these people who can eat one little thing and be satisfied? You sound like you are staying positive though. Cukes, Your dish sounds good. Kit

The person I'm closest to in all the world is a SAD eater: Bacon, potato chips, pop tarts... Lately I seem influenced by their habits. Sometimes I suspect foods are put in my path to tempt me. Some of my specific favorite See's candies have been left open where I will find them. This stuff is poison to me and if I give in it usually (or always) sends me on a wicked, long roller coaster ride. T

By the way I was at a Raley's today and pomegranates were selling for $2.29 or (was it more?) a piece. Dang. Kit

To get the seeds I often cut the pomegranate in quarters, stick them in a bowl of water and push the skin inside out to knock the seeds off with my finger. In water the juice doesn't spray all over. Otherwise it can be messy and stain clothing. I've heard you can cut them in half and juice them on a citus juicer the way you would an orange. I'll try that too. Kit

Hi Faithfully, Your pomegranate may be a different variety than you are used to. I think there's a 'papershell' or something variety that has paler interior color. Try it and see, it might taste good. My pomegranate tree is a 'wonderful' and has been producing ripe fruit for a few weeks now. It's seeds are crimson color and delicious. I have so many I am giving them away. They cost $1.99 a

Hi Peony, I don't know how to address bloating specifically other than that people on here say it's often related to food combining. As for the pain well, doing lots of physical work has taught me something. Worrisome aches and pains can occur that can make me wonder if I'm completely fallling apart physically, maybe it's some frightening condition! A little time passes and it works itse

Hello kwan, When I was a kid there were still many old orchards and vineyards around where I lived. Many were producing but no longer maintained. There was a field right down the street full of almond trees. I used to play there and collected almonds by the bag. I liked watching the stages of flowering with bees, the velvety light green covers on them that eventually split open and then the

lovebird, I love it! I especially love that your bird is still wet from a bath. And yes, huh-yuk, I understand feeling a little queasy postinng it under "Cat Menu". Perhaps I should in turn post my rats under cat menu. Anyway thanks for the picture, I think you just made my day. Kit

Hi lovebird, Thanks for mentioning rawfedcats. I'll check it out. Sounds like your cats are pleased w/ their diet. I know what you mean about the cost. But gads, I shudder to think what's in the usual store bought pet food. Are your little lovebirds mostly green? I'm trying to remember what they've looked like when I've seen them at pet stores. I know they were real pretty. My two rats (
