Obviously I was speed reading and missed the part about her implants. I suspected as much. That explains it.

I wonder how she has been able to keep her cup size that big even though she's leaned out everywhere else? When I lean out, the boobs are the first to go! LOL Most females with concave abs usually have smaller breasts. What's her secret? From my own experience, I look and feel my best when I have chlorophyll rich foods in my diet. I also like servings of more savory foods in between the f

I don't like mustard greens. I don't see myself as ever developing a taste for them.

I don't think I would want to do that long term. If it's for cleansing purposes why not do a 10 day fast? Or is it more of a calorie restriction thing? I workout too hard every day. I need the calories daily. Maybe if I were still sedentary.

Richard, Welcome back. Personally, I'm glad to see you back here. For me, my diet is only part of my journey. A lot of my healing has come from my new found fitness and that is something that most raw forums don't touch upon. I think the fitness aspect of health is way underrated even in the raw community. You are one of the few that can bring the message to others because you lead by e

1. I sleep as late as I want every morning. I like to wake up gently and on my own. You won't find any alarm clocks in my house. 2. I juice fast weekly for 1 to 3 days. 3. I am a fitness freak and a cardio junkie. 4. Gardening is my therapy. 5. I don't use soap, shampoo, deodorant, or toothpaste. I use a washcloth and a water/acv mixture to bathe, and baking soda to brush my t

Yes, it is time we acknowledge and appreciate their contributions to the raw food movement. Where would we be without those who have paved the way before us? Many of us embarked on our journeys as a result of their writings.

Berries help with collagen production and collagen contributes to elasticity. I add berries to all my smoothies, I do skin brushing, and I do strength training 3 times a week. My arms and legs have tightened up back to normal. My tummy has improved and I think will continue to improve as long as I keep lowering my fat percentage.

Richard Blackman is one of the least toxic personalities around here. I hope he does decide to come back. Disagreeing is not the problem. Having a haughty attitude when disagreeing, now that's a problem. Humility is such an attractive quality and haughtiness just repels people.

Richard, I want to thank you for all the fitness information you let me glean from you these past two years. You reinforced what I already knew deep down inside. That is, that you can't eat right and neglect your fitness. Health doesn't come from an optimum diet alone. In this regard, you led by example. I guess we all have a different perspective of how things are around here because I

Today I did "S.W.A.T. Workout - Extreme Weight Loss & Fat Burning." It's a high intensity interval training workout. It's a boot camp style workout with drills. It has jumping jacks, mountain climbers, push ups, boxers, squats, lunges, etc. I love this workout. You can view a video clip of it here: I ate a lot of oranges, cucumbers, and way too many almonds today. I've d

Today I did "Get Ripped - Slim & Lean which is a 60 minute strength training workout that covers everything. I still have to do my 120 pushups before bed and I'm going to try some Hindu push ups. I was able to find a video on youtube that shows how to do them.

I just think it's too much focus on the exterior. I bet if we could see what's going on, on the inside, we'd be like, "Wow. Look how clean Victoria Boutenko's arteries are. Viktoras has an awesome colon. And that liver!" LOL If I remember right, Victoria Boutenko overcame heart arrhythmia by eating raw. She must have been in a very unhealthy state before raw. She discovered raw

Today, I did "Hip Hop Abs - Fat Burning Cardio" with my man Shaun T. Until my foot heals up, I'm keeping it low impact. Hopefully, I can return to my cardio kickboxing in a few more weeks. I also have my standard push em ups to do before bed. I'm also doing all these different variations of the push up like, push ups w/ side planks, alligator push ups, clap push ups (I can only do

1) How did you train today? I did 30 minutes of strength training and 10 minutes of ab/core. I still have 120 pushups to do before bed. I'm experimenting with different variations of the pushup. 2) What did you eat today? I'm on Day 2 of a 3 Day juice fast so I had plenty of green juices and chamomile tea. 3) What can you do to improve? I probably need to up my weights, especiall

One would think that 30 bananas would be harmful to those with candida or insulin resistance. Now, I'm only speaking for myself here, but I feel better when I balance my greens to fruit ratio. I actually crave my greens and enjoy something non-sweet in between the fruit I eat. I love and crave my green salads which makes me think that my body has a need for greens. I've also have been cra

Are you mostly blending your greens? You might try juicing some of your greens instead of ingesting them in smoothies. Maybe limit your smoothies to two a day. This way, you are not overloading on fiber.

I don't mind the taste of wheatgrass at all especially after trying wakame. I tried to add wakame to my diet and ate it daily for two months and never did get used to the taste. I gave up the wakame and turned to wheatgrass instead. LOL Maybe that's the trick, eat wakame first.

I've seen wheat grass juice do what doctors couldn't do. Wheat grass is balancing my daughter's hormones. Everything that doctors tried made matters worse. We saw a big improvement after only a few months of adding wheat grass juice to smoothies. After a few months of adding it to her smoothies, my daughter will also occasionally drink it in shots. Evidently, she's acquired a taste for i

Updating the thread again in hopes that somewhere down the line someone might find this information useful. Again, another menstrual cycle for my daughter that arrived on time. This time, she experienced other signs of improvement as well. Her cycle only lasted a day and a half. Plus, she didn't have the severe cramps. First month that she didn't have to break out the heating pad. She al

Use smaller amounts of greens in your juices. Too much chlorophyll can give you stomach upsets. Also, don't have your greens too close together.

I grew up eating plantain, or "platanos" in spanish. We had them at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At one point, during my teen years of course, I refused to eat one more plantain. I even remember being embarrassed to bring school mates to my home because they always commented on how weird it was that we ate cooked bananas. My mom wouldn't use the plantains until they had a near rot

My elbows, since even before my teens, were my ugliest attribute. They always had an alligator like texture and were an ashey gray color. They itched, cracked, and felt rough. I would slather tons of lotions, creams, and oils on my elbows and even then they would only look slightly improved for a few hours. Basically, I had dry skin all over with my elbows being more severe. I don't know
