Wow..that's great, you are an inspiration. I should post my before raw and while on raw pics. I still have to stabilize my raw food intake, and quit any cooked foods. I'll get there. I tried posting a pic on the picture thread..you can see me there..if you click the link I posted. I need to go thru my photo albums..and I'll look for one of me just before I went raw and one when I got to size 1

Oh, you know what I do when I feel a cold coming on..I put about 5 drops of hydrogen peroxide in an 8 oz glass of water, stir and drink it. I swear it's helped me the last few years..and even my son tried it and it helped him too. Only use 3 to 5 drops though..and you can buy food grade hydrogen peroxide at David Wolfe website..rawfoods.com I think it is. I just use the drug store variety..and

I certainly had some of the worse offenders..broken off mercury fillings. I'm of the mind that mercury isn't good for a body, and as those fillings also age, they probably are even worse. Broken fillings being the worse offenders. My dentist used excellent suction while drilling, and geez..people get this stuff packed into their teeth in the first place..so drilling it out can't be as bad as n

The acronyn means Standard American Diet, what the general populace eats..so SAD. If the majority ever started eating high raw..what would S.A.D stand for then? How about H.A.P for Healthy, Ample, Produce. Love, Prism

I'm glad mine are all gone. I'm wondering though..if the video shows body heat coming thru the metal filling? It doesn't seem very scientificly done..does it? I think he should be holding it in something benign. How about taking mercury from a thermometer and seeing if that gives off a vapor. I would suggest putting it in something other than your hand though...hahahaha..maybe a shallow cerami

I've had several kinds of exercise balls..my fav is the Bell exercise ball..I tried that lumpy one..and hated it. I wouldn't buy a peanut shaped one either. Just a nice big round ball..no extras..just the ball. I do have 2 exercise cd's and I really like both of them. But mostly I just sit on it, stretch, bounce and lay on it..it's fun and relaxing. Good luck! Love, Prism

Perfect Body by Roe Gallo was my bible for the first 2 years, I also have Raw Food Detox Diet on order at Barnes and Noble. I've checked it out of the library about 5 times. I'm 54 and when I started raw foods I was 50 and I lost 71 lbs. in under 6 monhts. The biggest thing was the turn around in my health..and although I'm struggeling to get back to high raw I'm still benefiting from the lost

You can try Vitalia, that's where I see my Naturopath Natasha Wolfe. They do have an online website for more info. They are in Carlsbad. I can't bring their website up for some reason..maybe it's down for something..you can find them in the phone book. I can dig out their business card if needed..let me know. Love, Prism

Hi 24 Carrots! Oh yes..you'd think we both knew better to stay on raw I'm in same boat with you..and it's kinda leaky..hehehehe..I'm trying but it's not like the first time I went raw and lost 70 lbs. It's harder giving up some cooked foods this time..not as hard about the junk foods though..at least I still know they will kill me if I keep eating junk..but just feeling full on a little daily

Kathy, I'm 54 and I understand about going slowly when doing exercising. I tried a personal trainer and they about killed me I couldn't walk when I did the leg exercises for a couple days! But as above message states..water is great. I love to swim, and use the hot tub..and really then you are loosened up and more flexible...helps with pain. I also really like the treadmill..that's easy, an

I don't do recipes..except for something like putting shredded coconut and dates together to make cookie balls. I also disliked making and eating so much salad..so I would cut up my favorite veggies, and eat them with some celtic sea salt. Lots of fruits during the day, fruit smoothies, sometimes green juice I made most of the time from carrots, celery, and spinach. I also like fresh mat

I understand completely..so hard to get back on the raw food wagon once you've gone off..and you'd think we would be the ones that know the benefits of raw! I'm still trying to hitch a ride back on..it's hard. Just keep plugging away..that's all I can say for now. If I find the secret I'll post it. Love, Prism

Most dentists (from my understanding) don't use mercury filling any longer and if they are then you should find a more up to date dentist. My dentist says he doesn't use mercury only composite materials. I think it wise to get teeth and gums in shape and make sure especially that there is no infections and if there are to take care of that first. There are also holistic dentists around. Lov

For bathing I use my own homemade soaps, that have real coconut oil, olive oil and essential oils in them. I also love to use coconut oil mixed with my fav essential oils for all over my body. Helps my feet especially. I've been using only conditioner on my hair when I wash it...seems to be helping with the damage I've done to it with color. I've shampooed for a couple weeks this way.
