I only use peroxide when I have an earache..which is hardly ever..but apparently I get them thru detox when I get serious on raw foods, or like this time..from my tooth infection. Rawfoods.com has food grade hydrogen peroxide..I have never bought any, I just use the drug store variety..some people have objections to using that kind though. Love, Prism

The peroxide is cold and startles me when I first pour some in my ear..but it really does help with infection..I think what it might do is get that excess water out and dry the ear..the bacteria grows in the trapped water and I think that is what makes the earache painful. I never heard of using peroxide in any food items before..yeah..I wonder why they make food grade peroxide for anyway?

My fav. is spinach, celery, and carrots. Sometimes I add a few dandelion greens but because they are bitter I only add about 4-6 leaves. Love, Prism

Yes, I do the same thing, works really well. You do have to let it fizz until it warms and bubbles up out of the ear by itself to get maximun relief. The first time I went raw (I lost 70 lbs. that first time, in 6 months) I ended up with terrible ear infections after the first month..really went thru a difficult detox. I'm wondering if my current infection occured from also going 100% raw whil

You can buy raw meat patties from local pet stores. I feed my dog an all raw meat diet. He's very healthy and he's soon to be 8 years old. Love, Prism

I feed my small dog an all raw diet, and when he gets a raw chicken wing to chew on (drummets) he gets gassy too. If fact any chicken makes him farty, or if he gets too much he can get the runs. I feed him all beef, twice a day. About 5-7 bite sizes of a raw meat patty I get at the pet store, and about 7 bite size raw beef (stew beef). This agrees with him really well and he's going to be 8 ye

I was looking for a raw food room-mate also, and I'm in Oceanside, Ca. Well..I found a room-mate, and while she wasn't raw..she ate pretty good..and now since Jan. 15th she's been high raw and has lost over 14 lbs. Now, I'm the one struggling to stay high raw..but it's great to have a room-mate that is into it too. Love, Prism

Hmmm, that's interesting. I like barley in soups, never tried it alone though. Maybe I'll give it a try..since I'm addicted to sugar again. I wrote it down, so I'll buy some next time I go to the store. I'll let you know if it works for me. Love, Prism

Witarianin, I just read that quote (F.E.A.R. is an acronym that stands for, False Evidence Appearing Real) in a book I got called "Do It! Lets Get Off Our Buts". It has a lot of wonderfully funny, witty quotes from different sources, and people. About fasting..don't know much about it, I did it once while I was raw the first time, for 2 days, and it hurt when I started eating agai

I have been using hydrogen peroxide in my waterpik, and use salt water to swish around in my mouth, (celtic sea salt). I do however even use 5 drops of hydrogen peroxide in a glass of water(only needing to do this one or 2 glasses for one or 2 days) and drink that which I think helped keep the infection down until I went to the dentist and had the additional root canals done due to the infection

Oh gosh..this sounds kind of familiar. Recently while going raw I had this weird pain below my heart under my ribs..like cramps..and while it scared me, I just thought it was fat gettting in the way of moving or my ribcage. It happend a couple times while I was recently very high raw..mostly 100% raw. But isn't the gallbladder on our right side? Why would the pain be on the left side? I seem

My son aquired eczema on his back and tummy areas, and when I saw it I went out and got a couple things to treat it. The one thing he felt helped him (the eczema has almost all disappeared) and he asked for another bottle was the super B vitamins. Love, Prism

If you use store bought bars of soap, or commercial soaps they can be very harsh on your skin, hence the reason they sell you lotions to moisturize what the soap depleted out of your skin. If you buy hand-milled, handmade, or soap that has all the glycerine retained, this will help your hands and skin heal and helps to hydrate and moisturize your skin. Look for soap that has pure ingredients l

Try mixing some coconut oil with a bit of tea tree oil, and use after washing everytime you can. My feet/heels have really become soft and they were a mess before. Love, Prism

Great going! And for Na(raw)dia..when I first went raw I lost 71 lbs. in 6 monhts!! I was 236 lbs. when I started, and got to 165 lbs. and in size 12 jeans. It doesn't take long to lose when you are eating nutritious foods, (I didn't skimp on calories from the raw foods, and in fact ate some cooked occassionaly). Keep on keeping on Taylor!! Love, Prism

I made something a little heavier the other day that was very filling. I put into a blender 4 medjool dates, 10 raw almonds, and a piece of mature coconut, and a little distilled water..enough to get the blender going. It makes a chunky mixture that takes really good, if very filling even if you only eat half of it, and you can put it on stuff like celery. There are tons of fresh foods to eat.

Well..any body orifice could be a place for detox symptoms. You might try rinsing your mouth out with a mix of hydrogen peroxide and water. A water pik with a natural mouthrinse is good, and you can use a bit of peroxide mixed with water for the pik. While Vitamin C is good for you, maybe you should stay away from citrus for now and go with the other fruits until your mouth is better. Coul

I love her book, and I've checked it out of my library about 4 times..until it is no longer avail...probably someone lost or pilfered it. I have it on back order at the local bookstore..won't be in until this month sometime. You might really like to check out the diet at as it's all raw for the day, and if you feel like a need to eat cooked, they tell you what is good to have. They also have

I had a pretty easy time choosing fresh fruits early in transition, because that's what felt right to me. If I tried eating too many veggies, nuts, nut butters..it would just make me think that this is hard to do. So I stuck with mostly fruits and now that I'm going back on raw foods..it's fruits my body wants. Of course I was and then am now again addicted to sugary things..so maybe the frui
