I think that's really smart, not foolish. If we were all so open and willing to state our needs to each other, we wouldn't have so many problems on earth. I admire you for being real. It seems we have to feel really down before we'll ask for help. (well me anyway)

Has anyone seen this dvd? www.bigbucksbigpharma.org It's about the goal big pharma has to turn us all into patients and how they're approaching that task.

You mean the cyst appeared while you were raw and shrunk after going back to cooked food? I've been wondering a lot about this kind of thing and wondering if it's because reducing toxic load on your body causes it to flush out so many toxins that they become pooled or backlogged in certain areas. For example: I've been around 90+% raw for around 10 months. I've seen lots of improvements i

"i look back when i waas a kid and i would immediately say i *cant* do something rather then try it and see if i could in fact do it. was it my fear of failure .. where did this fear come from at such a young age" I love reading Alice Miller - she's easy to read and provokes so many answers to questions like these. Many things stem from incidents in infancy, but their effects are eas

Cy, eu estou estudando o portugues um pouco. Tenho alguns amigos brasileiros quem nao falam ingles, assim eu tento falar o portugues. De onde voce esta? My portugues is still bad but I enjoy learning it. My feeling about kidney cleansing is that the fresh raw approach has to be better than the cooked one. I have kidney disease and find that as soon as I eat certain cleansing (raw) thi

Yeah I wonder about that too. Maybe the warm water increases circulation or something to do with the body's position in the tub facilitates releasing the stones, or equalized pressure from being in water (?) or just not having to hold it in..??

Hi Pam I didn't read all of you entries but I just want to say that if you don't feel you're making progress on the Wigmore diet, you might want to try not using fermented foods and salt, and cut way back on nuts. I tried the Wigmore diet for well over a year and felt terrible on it - depressed, etc. I realized that I need a very simple diet and after going raw again last December, I realized a

I'd need a really good book to do that cleanse, plus the phone, note pads, crosswords, portuguese coursebook, and a bathtub cushion for my tush. Sounds fun, but wouldn't it hurt to pass stones? Or maybe the little ones pass painlessly?

Cy I think watermelon, with nothing else, is a good kidney cleanser. I think parsley juice is also considered very good for them.

Well I just read your log for the first time. Had no idea you had been through so much....so sad. So how are things for you and Mike the 11th? (so many mikes in your life!) The dialog between them sounded like two people needing assurance of their options and attractiveness.........she esp. pushed for reassurance. Since it's not my guy, I can be more objective - were you just feeling angry

I go slowly. I use a substitute and wean myself off it.... green tea, weak coffee, even caffeine tablets. It only takes 2-5 days for me. But I never take pain killers or otc meds, so never even think of them as options.

Jan, Cranio-sacral therapy is not really like massage. Are you sure she performed Cranio on you? Here's a link if you want to see a little more. Here's 'find a practitioner' and if the person you saw isnt listed there, then I don't think she's trained to do it. One of the practitioners I see is a medical nurse who does Cranio-sacral now.

You're making a green smoothie....you chop up the parsley and kale, but leave some of the stems on the cutting board because your blender won't puree them fine enough. They look tempting sitting there while you wait for the smoothie to blend. You put them in your mouth and start chewing the juice from them. The smoothie is ready and you turn off the blender. You know it's going to taste great

I was showing some friends Raw websites and we were looking at Before and After-Going-Raw photos. On the website of a woman who sells Raw coaching and promotional merchandise, we were struck by the obvious photoshopping of some After shots. If we readily noticed the doctoring, surely lots of people have. I wonder why someone would want to tell the internet world about the benefits of Raw o

The past few months I find I barely read anything on my screen - I rush over everything because my eyes bother me so much during and after computer use. Someone suggested wearing reading glasses while on the computer, so I've tried this a little the past two days. Anyone else having a similar problem or know what to do about it? Anyone tried the glasses? I'm a little wary in case they make

People panic when they first approach a raw diet - they have to slowly let go of their old ideas. But you can eat and inject all the salt you want, and see how it works for you. Trial and error and first hand experience is valuable.

Sharrhan, we were just talking about this today at my place. I believe this often stems from lack of mirroring or attention from the important people in your infancy and childhood. A lot of talented and intelligent people do little with their natural gifts because they feel whatever they do isn't worth the effort. They weren't made to feel valued when young and the dynamic sticks. I know the

There are long-term raw vegans whose diet seems to have cleansed and healed their physical bodies, but who seem to have mediocre results with their emotions and intellects. I think this was hinted at or illustrated in the INHS (Dr. Goldberg) website - an obsessive or else nasty nature can perservere despite ideal diet and cleansing. Some people have poisonous egos and I wonder if continued c
