Hi
This is well timed as I was just about to ask about this myself as I'm jus getting into making puddings/pies. Plus, I've seen that Mmmveg has been using it for desserts and they look oh so so sooooo good.
Kate Magic's selling it in the UK, but I just wanted to ask how long it lasts for as it's quite expensive (for me).
Thanks so much,
Gill xx

OK, I don't have a dehydrator (birthday list, but that's not for a while). Do you think it would be poss to make these using my conventional oven at its very very lowest setting, perhaps with the door open? I'm thinking maybe not, but oh these sound soooooooooooooo good!
Any thoughts?
Thanks so much,

Ahhhh thanks Mmmveg. It is a little lime zest on top, well spotted. And I can never resist a bit of goji action - I arranged goji 'flowers' all over it.
I don't have a vitamix, so mine's done with a food processor.
Lemon, banana, I'm lovin it all. Make sure you keep me up to date with your pie making antics and piedeas. I've been a bit scared of pie making but now I've embraced it I wan

Mmmveg your pie looks terrific! I still need to tweak mine, but boy, it was just what I needed/wanted. Do you have any other fillings that you really really like (and I can try to copy!)?
Now then, I'm still having difficulties knowing how to put a pic up. I've gone to tinycurl, but am not sure what to do. Sorry! Believe me, I'm usually far more computer literate than this! Tips welcome.

Valgal, how about making romaine wraps? I often do this with a mix of say avocado, maybe some chopped dates, diced bell peppers, cucumber, red onion, tomoatoes, really whatever veggies you fancy - the avocado is a must! Ok then get your romaine leaf, plop the mixture in the middle, spread it out a little and roll it up like a burrito. Yo

25. Key lime pie
Hi
Does anyone have an idiot proof recipe for a key lime pie? Away from simple salads etc and I'm not so competent - so do you have something that's pretty straightforward?
I don't have a dehydrator, so I'd be looking to make one with a chilled base instead.
Help pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!
Thanks so much, love n light,
Gill

I'm busy spiralising courgette, carrots, parsnips and butternut squash until I can get my hands on some. Which I'm quite happy doing, they're super tasty!

The Sea Tangle Noodle company (USA) say that : 'Kelp Noodles are a sea vegetable in the form of an easy to eat raw noodle. Made of only kelp (a sea vegetable), sodium alginate (sodium salt extracted from a brown seaweed), and water' They say that they are raw and do not undergo any heating over 100 degrees F.
You have to order quite an amount tho, and I'm just wondering if I can source them a

I like to chop up the dates and mix them in with some mashed avocado, maybe add some chopped capisum or some red onion and roll up in a romaine leaf. Or good on top of a large mushroom.
Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! xx
