you guys hit home lee & coco. Currently I'm breastfeeding a big hungry baby, so I apply no restrictions with my vegan raw diet. lots of fat, protein, whatever! as long as its vegan & raw. But in a few months that will change, he won't be needing so much of mamas milk. and I'll switch to whatever my body needs in its current situation. so i agree that saying every person needs the same thi

just to let ya'll know I just want to know the truth about this stuff,I'm not trying to argue or anything. So brian, from what I've heard a head of romaine lettuce along with other greens has a lot of insoluble fiber. Is that not true? and also i cut and paste that paragraph from another website, its not my opinion. I just wanna figure it all out.

i do eat spirulina by its self and I think it's delicious.i was using an example with the banana, I love the emerald green goodness. But its not for everyone, I guess. the subject of the quote that I used was from "green for life" a book about eating an abundance of kale, spinach, lettuce and other greens. a perfectly natural food that contains a lot of insoluble fiber.

"Insoluble fiber is found primarily in greens, peels, nuts, seeds, beans and skins of grains. Insoluble fiber under a microscope looks like a sponge, and indeed it serves us as a miraculous sponge, because every piece of it can absorb many times more toxins than its own volume. Have you ever wondered why we always like to have a sponge in our kitchen? Sponges are fibrous, they make the job o

flax seeds have excellent insoluble and soluble fiber, if you grind them fresh, they don't spoil for a few days in the fridge. the oil has all the omegas. if you get too heady about where you would find food in nature, the options start slimming down too much. what about spirulina?if we were in the wild would we be scraping the side of a lake? no. but they still have amazing nutritional benefits.

they advertise a lot about keeping the enzymes, but I just got hired there and noticed the dehydrator set at 135 degrees. Isn't this way too high for enzymes? I feel betrayed;(

I have a nine month boy & every morning he shares a big glass of green smoothie with me. I make it sweet to his taste with oj and strawberries. he snacks on watermelon, figs and all fruits through out the day. for dinner something like almonds blended with carrots and a lil water. & lots of breast milk. I'm sorry you lost yours, it must have been very hard. have you tried coconut water?

hmmmmm......I was rather disturbed about the false information on this site. I have a seven month old baby who has only had breastmilk (by a raw food mama) and fruit, and he has more rolls than a bakery. They were saying that fat babies are unnatural!! I don't know where they got that data.......

I heard recently that all agave nectar is made in mexico and is often "watered down" with corn syrup (cheaper for them) dr douglas grahm wrote about it in the latest living nutrition magazine. Does any one know if this is true?

Hello, I relate to your situation as well. My daughter is four now. I find the easiest way to deal with it, is by making food a very casual thing. I try not to push anything on her too hard (accept one green smoothie in the morning) If she's hungry, she knows where the food is and she'll grab whatever she feels like. (all raw) When we go out to friends houses and parties, I let go of the leash an
